I purchased this drone to explore the world of flying a drone, taking aerial photos and videos. I chose the TSRC Q5 for the features offered for the price that way if this was not something I enjoyed or if I crashed the drone there was not large sum of money involved.The set up was easy after reading the provided manual and watching the video scanned from the QR code inside the case. The various flight modes: follow me, gps way point mode, and circle me mode all worked as advertised. The calibration set up is easy and using the gps mode the number of satellites that the app connects to has been 20 to 25 in my area of the world. Im very pleased with the picture quality for the price of this drone and included two pictures I took. The sunset picture is from my front yard about 300ft straight up. The other photo is from flying at a local park at 230ft altitude. The video quality is good but as other reviews have stated there is no gimbal to stabilize the camera in windy conditions so it will be jumpy unless flying in calm to light winds. The flight time for me has been 20 to 25 minutes depending on wind 15mph or less for wind speed. I have flown in 15 to 20 mph winds using the gps waypoint mode and flight times dropped to the 12 to 15 min range it can be done but I wouldnt suggest it. The flight ranges are as advertised, I had to go to a very large field to find out and had two people help me maintain line of sight contact while flying at the max range for this drone. The drone and contoller worked well flying at the extended ranges, no delays in respones to manuver the drone. For what TSRC advertises this drone is capable of doing I find it to be true and would highly reccomend it to anyone as entry level drone and Im giving a 5 star review.

The TSRC Q5 drone was just amazing right out of the box. I am a beginner drone user and this item was just great and easy to use the first time out. It comes with a nice carrying case to protect the unit and stores everything you need to fly the drone, including the extra battery and parts that came with it. The drone was easy to set up the first time out and having a beginners mode made the first flight enjoyable without any disasters. It has a one key take off / landing that worked well. Taking off up to about 1.5 meters and holding there till you decide what you want to do. it hoovers there for as long as you like. One key landing lets it land itself at any time for perfect landings. Using the altitude assist was really nice. You let the drone set at any altitude and it just hangs there without any input from you. This gives you the ability to use the 4K camera to get pictures or video without worrying what the drone is doing. There are many other useful features on this unit. I have not used them all yet but the most important features for me were the take off / landing feature, altitude assist feature, high resolution 4K picture / video usage and the GPS auto return features. These all worked flawlessly. I tested the GPS return feature by activating the return button on the controller when the drone was far away from me. It directly lifted itself to a settable distance of 30 meters above the ground to miss all obstacles to fly back to where it took off. I did not have to do anything else. The unit slowly came back to me and made a perfect landing. It then shut itself off ready to go again. This unit is suppose to automatically return to you when it reaches a low battery, looses its signal from your phone or flies out of distance. The portion of the GPS return feature I tested was really reassuring that it would be difficult to loose the drone by it just flying off. I have attached some pictures of the first flight. The pictures were great and as good as your phone can produce. I was really pleased with this unit. The quality, features and pictures will provide endless fun for a very reasonable price. I do want to mention that the shipping was free and very fast. I ordered it from Amazon late in the evening and it was delivered at 5:27 am the next morning. I see where if you order it in the morning you can still get it the same day. It just doesn't get better than that!

I have read the negative reviews and either I got very lucky and got one that wasn’t defective, or some of those reviewers didn’t follow the directions correctly. To be fair, the directions are a little bit convoluted and lacking but with some patience I was able to get it working. For this reason as well as I wish the phone holder was a little bigger, I couldn’t give it a full 5 stars. This is my first drone and I got it on Black Friday at a steep discount price of $87. I hadn’t really had the time to fly it outside until today and I was really impressed with it. It took very good quality pictures and videos and was relatively easy to control. I did try it inside a few times when I first received it and inevitably crashed a few times but it held up pretty well and showed no damage. It came with a generous amount of replacement blades as well as all accompanying hardware, including the screw driver. The carry case is of good quality also. As of now, I would have to say I’m very pleased with this unit and it has exceeded my expectations for the price. If my experience changes with subsequent use, I will update my review but for now, I give it a solid 4 stars. I would like to see a more comprehensive manual and flying tips and instructions though.

About two of these drones because I thought they were good they fly good but one controller makes the drone keep on spinning with the yaw and it won't stop at all second controller screen froze but they yaw works and then suddenly the other controller the the screen froze same exact problem so I can't fly either one of the drones cuz neither one of the controllers work I contacted a customer service and the only thing they could tell me is to read the manual and that I wasn't doing things right other than that they would not respond back to me at all no matter what I said to them so I told him I was going to go to Amazon and ask for a refund makes no sense to contact customer service that's supposed to help you but then they just tell you that you're supposed to follow the rules and the directions which I did follow the rules and directions and now we're in there does it say how to reset the screen or to stop it from going in circles so sucks to be them they're going to lose their money cuz I emailed them and they have not written me back
