I was looking for mains operated picture lights to fit-in with black nickel electrical fittings in a room. I was also looking for something modern (I have traditional picture lights in other rooms). After looking at quite a few possibilities I decided on this one on the basis of price, style and colour. I was not disappointed. It fits well with black nickel fittings, is modern and stylish and seems excellent value at the price. It came disassembled which means a smaller package. Assembly was easy - just insert bulbs (without touching them - I used the foam wrapper they came in to hold them) and push on the 'arms'. Quality seems excellent although I will be interested to see how long the halogen bulbs last - when they go I intend to replace them with compatible LED's in any event. As I have only just fitted them I cannot comment on how the lights last over time. The lights are easy to fit and adjustable with sufficient space in the 'box' section (which is 5cm high) for hiding wiring. Fixing is by a simple bracket held inside the 'box' by two small colour co-ordinated screws on either side (with locking washers - a nice touch). It was also supplied with terminal block (four terminals so had to remove one) and fixing screws/plugs for the bracket (although I used my own). The arm appears to be threaded so can be twisted if it appears askew (one did). I was sufficiently impressed with them to order five more. They are being used to bring a modern touch to a traditional Victorian room and the black chrome looks good with the white painted mouldings as well as the black nickel fixtures.

Lovely stream line picture light that would go with any decor. Not flimsy and good value for money.

It's a good, budget-priced lamp that works fine, yet for the budget price there are some compromises on design and finish. The brass effect finish is noticeably different on the body, compared to the arms that house the bulbs. The arms that house the bulbs are a push-fit on to the body, with what I think is a silicone gasket, to hold them in place. On my unit, one of the arms is not truly level, which is something my eye picks-up on.

Good value good quality

No instructions the wiring is really awkward to connect and the drop down light won't stay up I've had to put a hook to hold it up. Not worth the money

Didn't sit perfectly on wall but, when in situe with the correct bulbs fitted, it does look really good for the money. A good picture light

Excellent rapport qualité/prix (modèle acquis en finition acier chrome satiné) : - Description conforme - Très bonne finition des éléments métalliques - Bonne qualité du câblage, connexion électrique simple - Bel éclairage avec les lampes halogènes fournies (lumière chaude 2700k), voire à changer pour des lampes LEDs pour une moindre consommation et absence de chaleur (type équivalent G9) Attendu la grande taille du tableau auquel cet éclairage est destiné, j'ai même un peu "dé-cintré" le bras pour donner plus de recule aux points lumineux...

The quality and not well assembled… after paying so much they want us to buy the halogen lights… I got the same style from IKEA more then 6 yrs before and now they aren’t working well… they were best for money and excellent quality which lasted for good 6 yrs…

Gute Verarbeitung, erstklassige Materalien. Sehr schöne und zeitlose Optik. Nur sehr schade, dass die Leuchtmittel nicht dabei sind und diese gesondert gekauft werden müssen!
