If you're picky, like I am, here is a list of everything that's in it so you can decide if it's what you're looking for. (1) Strong cover but it might get a bit marked or stained in the kitchen (2) Good quality thick pages, glue or ink won't show thru on the next page (3) 2 ribbon bookmarks (4) page for the guardians of your recipe book (nice touch !!) (5) 4 pages for contents (6) page for oven temps & weight (7) page for cooking terms (al dente, blanch, florets etc) (8) page for cooking times, abbreviations, how much spaghetti, butter, eggs. (9) page for steak finger test, defrosting poultry and how long to cook it if it's stuffed or not (10) 2 pages for family pictures (11) 2 pages for notes (12) pages for 80 recipes (yes, I did count them - sad lol) and each page has recipe name, difficulty rating, how many it serves, cooking time, ingredients, method, created by, good space for a picture, hints/tips, a star rating and a few lines for a review from the family (13) 2 pages for pictures of classic family meals (14) 5 pages for useful tips and 5 pages for family secrets (cooking or otherwise !!) I couldn't believe how sturdy this book was when I received it. I comes in a little box sleeve. The box sleeve has pictures on the front and its a bit of a shame as in my opinion you wouldn't leave it in the sleeve when its in the kitchen, however the book its self is nice and modern and looks like a quality product. Its plain with small silver writing of the front and spine. The book is a good thickness and you would certainly fit a lot of recipes in there. Luckily I bought this as a gift for someone as sadly with my kitchen knowledge it would be wasted............I could make beans on toast stretch about two pages.

I found I had loads of lovely cookery books, but only used a few recipes from each one. Fed up of searching through them each time I needed a recipe, I have been writing out the ones I used most often in a paperback journal, but obviously it has become splashed and worn very quickly. I decided this book would be a sturdier way of preserving both my favourite recipes and those handed down to me from previous generations. However it has proven to offer so much more! The pages are spacious, with room for comments, reviews, photos etc, it even comes with a printed insert giving ideas on how to set out your recipes imaginatively. The paper is such good quality that I’ve been inspired to illustrate my recipes with watercolour paintings of the herbs, fruits and vegetables they contain. This book should hopefully become something to pass on to future generations. A top quality item.

I got two of these one for each daughter. The size is great the sleeve is protective which will be ideal when not in use. The actual layout and design is fun and well thought through with spaces for photos of favourite cakes and food and also a family tree of who recipes come from in the family. I really liked filling it in and my only criticism is that I wrote with a fountain pen and the paper is quite absorbent. Apart from that I love it and I know my girls will keep these recipe books for years adding their own recipes to the ones I have already filled in for them.

I had been looking for a cookbook to put my recipes in for quite some time but could never find one that was simple enough but still had all the page titles that I wanted. Admittedly the name is slightly odd, but the book itself it perfect. It in lovely and red, making it easy to spot in my bookshelf. The material is sturdy and should last a long time if not handled too rough.The index at the front of the book are very helpful if you need to quickly find which page you used to write down a specific recipe and the tips that follow with cooking times, conversion rates etc are very handy and stops you from having to work it out yourself or google it.It would make a great gift for someone who loves to create their own recipes or just write down their favourites and have them all neatly in the same place like me.

I bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas as she loves to cook and we both have lots of family recipes from our mother and grandmothers. The book is beautifully bound, simple but timeless, made with very good quality paper for writing on. It is set out really well - there are spaces for lots of recipes, photos of how they should look and spaces to write bits about the family member whose recipe it is. It's a really lovely keepsake as well as being practical. We thoroughly recommend it!

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves to cook, this is a great place for him to record all of his reciepes. People ask him all the time how did you cook this, oh whats in this, this tastes great? He would forget alot of the time as its second nature to him, But now he can write it all down and keep all his favourites in one place.Great product!It also looks great, great quality !! has a luxury feel to it.

I love everything about this cook book. Hard cover exterior, quality paper and section for index. Great to keep all your favourite recipes, family’s secret ingredients in ones spot. Spacious, enough room for ingredient listing and writing preparation method. Can’t wait to add more recipes and pass it to other members in my family.

My mom has become quite the chef since the pandemic and mainly puts her recipes in a notebook. This was a perfect gift for her! It arrived on time. Lots of colors to choose from; I ordered red and it was vibrant. You can really make this cook book your own with customizations. There is enough pages for a whole lot of receipes as well as pictures. The layout is perfect. My mom loved this present!
