I've had several black dogs, but this one reminds me of my heart dog, Fred. He was quite a character and was such a good companion, and this is a great way to honor him.The black window decoration has some streaks where the sun shines through, so you can see the stained glass. It's a little hard to see those without the light coming through them, but that's okay. My black dog didn't have stained glass streaks.This is a beautiful hanging window decoration that just so happens to perfectly capture the memory of my heart dog, who was a little black dog with ears like the decoration's ears. We recently lost our 16 yr old Goldendoodle. It was a long and difficult week for the whole family. The kids requested a momento for the grandkids. I picked this because she often sat in the patio window watching the birds at our feeder. It looked like her. I was so pleased with the design and how beautiful it is. It is a quality artwork for a reasonable price. The kids adore it and I ordered one for us because we loved it so much.

This is a very cute window decoration. It feels sturdy. It's got some weight to it. I'm only giving it a 4 star because the attachment is not a suction cup, but a sticky pad that I wasn't keen on putting on my window so I had to find a suction cup and the place where the ring attaches to the dog seems a little flimsy, so I'll need to be gentle with it. HOWEVER, I really like how this piece looks like the dog is looking OUT the window instead of showing the front of the dog like others I have seen. I also like that the black lets no light through. It looks like a void staring out my window... just like my pup did when she would sit and look out that same exact window. It's a lovely reminder of her.
