I almost always buy Bosch, AC Delco or Motorcraft filters here on Amazon rather than spend the same or more $ on crap Fram filters at Walmart or god forbid an auto parts store. The quality on these Bosch is exceptional, and for the price cannot be beat. For "import" brands I have found these Bosch to be the best overall deal.

I buy this S2000 Honda filter since it's an inch or so longer than the normal one spec'd for my Honda Pilot. Makes room for almost a full 5-quart fill at oil change time. There's plenty of space for it.

I was initially surprised when I received the ordered filters to find that they were fat short filter casings so different from those from Fram or STP brands that I had used in the past. See pictures. I thought there was a mistake with the order but upon checking the model number was correct. I did the due diligence by surfing the net to make sure it would fit my 1999 Honda Odyssey - but I had mixed results: some websites affirmed fit while others only specified fit for 2000 or later models of Honda Odyssey. I went under the car and noticed that the existing slimmer and longer filter cartridge from STP was screwed fasten onto the oil filter flange that has a wider surface area leaving the outer metallic flange surfaces exposed. After removing the old filter, the diameter of this coupling flange surface is still slightly larger than the 2.5-inch rubber rim diameter of the stubby Bosch 3312 oil filter. There is no obstruction around the mounting space to prevent good installation of this fat filter. The best thing of this new assembly using a 80mm oil filter wrench cap is that this filter now completely mount flush with the filter flange area not allowing any metallic surfaces to be exposed to elements of dirt, wetness or weather. This bigger diameter of a stubby filter should be a preferred choice for this vehicle - Honda Odyssey - as it fits perfect! The brand quality assurances of Bosch is the icing on the cake… so glad that I bought 3 at a very good price. Planning to buy again.

I got these because they have a silicone anti-drain back valve and they were a good price. They work great on my accord with no dry starts for the entire oil change interval.

according to the Bosch website this filter is rated at 20 microns. This seems to be the same level of filtration that is offered by Amsoil with/in their highest level of filter.That was interesting to me given the nice price here on Amazon,

My preference of oil filter for the price. Stay away from the cheap $5 store brand oil filters and spend little bit more on oil filter. Bosch is great quality for the price and your engine will last forever
