I have been buying Biofreeze Professional Strength Pain Relief Gel for awhile now. Does a decent job at minor to medium pains/soreness. As a helper at the early stages of a migraine (back of my neck/base of head) or general muscle/joint pains, the earlier you apply this, the better it can ward off any more major pain that might creep in. I like the roll-on because it's more of a non-mess type ordeal. The smell of menthol is still there and immediately strong, but seems to dissipate quicker than creams and balms do. It's also a bit more portable, as you could leave it in a bookbag or in the car (covered) and not have the same leakage concerns as a cream or balm melting in hot weather as long as it's upright.Everyone is going to be different, but I find that it can work for up to 4-5 hours.

Love Tiger's Balm for muscle soreness or fatigue after exercising, skateboarding, or playing soccer. However, if unable to find or afford it, Bio Freeze is a fantastic alternative! More affordable, bigger containers, and usually more available to find online.I find the roll on tube works so well for harder to reach areas (back, feet for some people, etc.) and helps you get better coverage of the gel vs the spray or gel massaged in by hand via pump. It's also mess-free since you don't get any gel on your hands during application.The "Professional" roll-on vs the non-Professional roll-on is noticeably better! Within minutes of application the gel seeps into your muscles, tendons, tissue, etc. and you can feel the mentholated gel stripping the gnawing pain of soreness from you. With the right amount applied, the relief is enough to resume daily activities for awhile where the pain would normally stop you from participating in.I personally believe that regular use of this when experiencing the occasional soreness or muscle fatigue from exercising heals those areas quicker and better than if I did my daily routine minus the Bio Freeze. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants near-instant pain relief in sore joints, muscle, tendons, bruises, etc!
