Beautiful piece, but my dog clawed a huge piece off within 2 minutes.

It took me (widowed female) and my 10 year old daughter about 4.5 hours to assemble it. I don’t think that is too bad considering our lack or experience. The parts were clearly labeled and the instructions were all photo based and easy to follow. I am unsure how well this will hold up. The back is pretty thin and the whole unit is basically two separate halves held together with a few parts. But it seems pretty sturdy so far. My daughter sat in it at various points during assembly and she definitely weighs more than any of our dogs. It is very spacious. My two French bulldogs share one side and my other two share the second side. The door latches function very well. It is such an awesome step up from wire crates!
