Loved this little candle, very fresh and not too sweet. The label and jar were all cute and high quality, I'd totally give this and a gift. One complaint was that the candle wanted to tunnel burn though, even with four plus hour burn times it didn't want to melt to the edges, almost like the wick was slightly too thin?I don't know, but I did have trouble burning it cleanly edge to edge. That's my only quibble though.

The hot throw isn't great, but the cold throw was. Wick was easy to keep short. Jar was nice but label was kind of lacking for me. Had a cheap farmers market feel. Burn time was excellent.Scent is a preference. For me this was great but I think the weirdly mellow hot throw made me not want to do 5 stars.

It is hard to review things based on the smell because you might love the smell while I was not a fan. The quality is great and the little saying on the candle is super cute. The candle has a very strong essential oil smell. I am not sure which essential oil the smell is but I know it is too strong for my allergies and gave me a headache. Even with the lid you can still smell it.

I’m going to be honest here and say that I ordered this candle for myself because I wanted a sandalwood/sage scent. And though the saying on the candle isn’t quite my sense of humor, I’m sure this would serve as a great gift for a friend. The candle smells of sandalwood, sage, and earthy undertones, and it definitely has more of a masculine scent. The candle is well-packaged and a good size for the price point. It also burns at a slow pace, which is good for longevity.My only real qualm is that the scent could be stronger. I often have candles burning throughout my house and in the bathroom when I take baths, and this scent was on the faint side. Compared to a brand like Bath and Body Works, I have to say that this candle didn’t quite live up to the same standards. As a future suggestion, I hope that this brand can put a bit more scent into their candles to make them stronger.

A good small gift with a little chuckle to go with it. It's got a sticker on the bottom that says lavender however I would not have known from smelling it. The smell is not bad but it is also not lavender.
