I really have to blame myself I guess because I depended more on the photo of the people in some persons hand rather than paying better attention to the written description to estimate their size.The photo shows what appears to be 1:48 sized people. However, the very last numbers of the lengthy description, in parenthesis, does say: (1:75). My mistake.1:75 is no doubt accurate but the photo shows, what looks like to me, to be: 1:48 (O gauge) size.They are not O gauge. I should have paid closer attention before ordering this package. BTW, the trees, while also too small on my layout for forest type trees, can suffice to adorn a walkway, appearing to be shrubbery whatever. No, I'm not going to bother others with a 'return'. It was largely my fault, lesson learned (again), lol.Hey you kids out there, listen up: I'm an OLD man and even I learn something new everyday !Always read what you are about to sign or order / buy, from top to bottom, understand every word before signing / buying !

NOTE: Ensure size compatibility as they are small. Very attractive painted figures with nice detail. Worked for my project and enhanced the charm to my miniature train town.

First off if you are buying to add some accessories to your collection for a decent price, this set is pretty good. The grass will have to be glued to something because it comes all crunched, but it’s good quality. The people are nothing like pictured! I expected a lack of detail in the faces, but the painting is so bad. It’s just slapped on in the worst colors. There is a glob of black paint on the top of each head and a large portion of them look more like aliens than people. DO NOT BUY FOR THE PEOPLE!

When I wired up the lights, they started smoking and melting the plastic! I also burned myself in the process. The figures look like a toddler painted them. The only good part was the benches and trees.
