I was nervous about purchasing this electric heating blanket. Because of the low price and the feedback about it sliding around or off the bed etc. I have really nice quality microfiber sheets, so I was concerned that they would be too smooth and silky for our King size bed. I was also worried that my silky beadspred would slide all over the place by being on top of the silky soft electric blanket. But our first night sleep last night was a breeze. Everything stayed in place.My only two issue is (1) the controller is a bit short. They really needed to make it longer. I uses command slips to mount the controls to the bed frame, which just barely reach our heads. But it isn't a big deal. Actually it is right at our fingertips, which is convenient enough. But I also wishing we had just a little longer so I would not worry about tugging the connectors, they seem to lock in well enough. But I still will check them every night and every morning. Just as a precaution. (2) us that it does not come on automatically. BUT>>>>> that is also something we will not have to remember to do if we go away for a trip, we will not have to make sure to turn the auto button to off. So this is actually a super good safety step not having to worry about that or malfunctions.. All in all I think it is amazing and so soft and it is so wonderful crawling into a warm bed at night. My husband says he actually prefers that it will not automatically come on. But it does have temperature and will allow you to set how many hours you want it to run while your in bed. So it is perfect. I would recommend it thus far. I will follow up in about 3 months or so. Then again next winter. Once we have had time to truly use it for a longer period of time.

I wanted to wait a while with this review so I could go through some usage first, to see how this blanket holds up. It's holding up quite nicely. The control is easy to manipulate and the blanket heats up pretty quickly. It does have 6 settings but I never used it past 3, which seemed warm enough for me. The time setting of up to 9 hours is a very nice feature, but I never had it running longer than 2 hours. It's easy enough to shut it off, even while half asleep, but I do like the auto shutoff function. The blanket itself isn't very thick, but it doesn't have to be. It's soft to the touch. I haven't run it through the wash yet, since I keep it between the top sheet and comforter and I'm thinking of making a lightweight cover for it, to avoid having to wash it too often. Very happy with this purchase and definitely helped me keep my heating bill down a bit.

I bought the EHEYCIGA Heated Blanket in Queen Size, camel color. I must say, it is warm and cozy blanket, even without using any of the heat settings! Here are the positive aspects of this purchase. It is the correct size, super soft on the top side and cozy on the sherpa side. The sherpa has shed a few fibers, but nothing significant. We have not washed it yet. The heat distribution is very even, with no hot or cold spots. A level 2 is sufficient for really warming things up nicely.Now I would like to mention a feature that took me by surprise. Each controller has its own wall plug. Each controller attaches at the bottom of the blanket, near the corner. Make sure you look at the pictures of the product, closely. After I ran the wiring, I did find there was little to no extra cord. I guess that is good, but it also doesn't give you a lot of wiggle room if your outlet is not in the perfect spot. If you are like me, I prefer to not use extension cords and plug things directly into the wall receptacle. Keep that in mind.The only negative about this purchase is the temperature control dials and the only reason I gave a 4-star rating, instead of 5. Each time you turn it on, the controller defaults to a 3H. We mainly use ours to warm up the bed and would find it very beneficial if the controller could retain the last setting we used.I would buy it again. I would give it as a gift. i think the price was great and the blanket is so comfy.

I purchased a bunch of these for my family for Christmas. They were a hit everyone loves snuggling up in them! They heat quite evenly, not completely obviously as there is wires inside that are heating, so it’s not total coverage, but pretty good. they are soft and decently thick, and they get nice and warm, love the timer and remote control with adjustable heat temperatures. I bought a queen and a king size one each too that come with two separate plug-ins and two separate remote controls, which is the only thing I would say, I don’t like, having to have two electrical outlets available to plug in one blanket is annoying, and the two cords and two remote controls is a lot of wires that you are then trying to tuck underneath your mattress and not trip over next to your bed. I unplugged one side and disconnected it completely and just fold the blanket in half, still get the heat. But it is kind of a waste that one whole side isn’t heating. I guess it depends on your bed set up. But it would definitely be better if it was just one plug-in to heat the entire queen or king sized blanket. I like, obviously that they are machine washable, although I have not tried to launder them yet. Overall, definitely recommend- nice gift!

We have been using this blanket for a month now and we would say that it has been a terrific addition to our bed for the winter. The product seems well made and is very functional. The material is soft and cozy. The heated area of the blanket is basically the whole surface area of a queen mattress from side to side and from foot to just under the pillow. We find the unit to be relatively quick to warm - we often turn it on shortly after dinner so it is super toasty at bed time.As others have noted it does seem to shed. Assuming that this will go away once washed. We have ours above the sheet and below the comforter so haven't had to wash yet. There are also comments about the controls - for me they were intuitive, for my partner they were confusing. A month in and no issues. The adjustability of the time and temperature are great features and work well once you understand how to use them.The blanket provides a measure of thermal add even with the heat off. This doesn't bother me but my partner pushes the blanket off her before going to sleep. The fabric is super soft.This unit has been a great purchase and here's hoping it lasts a long time.

Having a cold bedroom enhances the awesomeness of this heated blanket. It heats up very quickly so no need to turn it on too early. The dual controls are awesome when you have different heating needs on either side of the bed. The blanket itself is very silky and feels nice, however I have a bedsheet between me and the blanket so that wasn't an important feature to me. Overall this is an excellent blanket, I have used it for over a month now and it's been excellent. My only con I would say, if it's not an overly cold night where my room drops in temp, the lowest setting can be quite warm. Thankfully you can set it on for an hour or so and then it'll go off, leaving you warmed up. But it can feel a little too warm on the lowest setting. Otherwise, it's awesome.
