Great deep fryer

Love my deep fryer.

Size is perfect, good quality material, maintains the heat levels for frying.

The item was made ok and will function well. I was looking for a unit a step up from this. Sometiing a little bigger and heavier.

Don't expect the instructions to tell you to remove the thin white plastic coating the looks like a painted finish before assuming your item was delivered used and scratch OR that the heating elements won't heat unless -- in addition to turning the switch to the "ON" position and setting the temperature dial, that you also MUST activate the timer dial. Otherwise, the red light that indicates the element(s) are heating up won't illuminate. For these reasons, I immediately assumed the product was used and/or defective and decided to seek to return it. Then I realized from reading an imbedded text message image from another purchaser's review that the reason the product wasn't working. So I used the product and was planning to keep it when after the first use I noticed that oil was slow leaking out from behind the cover over the line that exits from the front of the fryer frame to the pour spouts, leaving a mess and fire hazard, so now I am returning for a true, identified defect and I won't be buying this again.

thought it would be wider than it is but it's real deep and didn't pose a problem making donuts because it cooked them so fast. loved everything about it

Well, not impressed. Usually you get a good quality product from this company, but I guess quality control is slipping. Picture 1 is of a gap that is not supposed to be there. Pictures 2 and 3 show popped welds causing the gap. Quality control sure missed the mark here. It will probably function but it will be messy underneath when you are done. Will update you after I talk to you company.*UPDATE* decided not to contact the company as we are going to have it re welded at the local trade school. Also, can not connect to the same outlet for both sides as it trips a 20 amp breaker. So options are, 1) replace breaker with a 30 amp and hope it works or 2) run an extension cord to another outlet on a different breaker. For now we are using 1 side at a time. Other than that, everything else seems to be just fine.

The media could not be loaded. This takes about 15 minutes to get up to cooking temperature. After that game on! It maintains heat and doesn’t cool down once cold food is added. Chicken wings came out perfect and crispy! My only complaint is that the wire baskets are very small. I’d definitely recommend this just keep in mind it is very large. I would not use this in the house. We ended up ordering a dedicated rolling prep stand for it so it is easily movable.
