I use 8 ounces every morning and half a protein bar for breakfast takes me from 730am to noon easily. around 2pm I take a 1 ounce sip as a bridge to dinner. I had this yesterday when I had a super busy day and only had a chance to drink coffee before rushing out the door for a full day. By mid-afternoon I was starving and had it. It was silky, creamy and the vanilla flavor was nice. It had a nice thickness to it to be somewhat satiating but honestly I was still hungry afterwards and after 2 hours, I had to eat a snack. I also liked the amount of the shake. The large bottle helped with it being somewhat fulfilling.

I have been looking for a cost-effective, convenient meal solution for the work week. Huel has become that option. This allows for me to keep running when work becomes really hectic. Also, Huel is a much better option than resorting to fast food in my opinion! I enjoy the coffee and strawberry flavors the most.Texture-wise, Huel is slightly granular with a consistency similar to protein shakes. Flavoring isn't overbearing and has a "healthier" taste compared to other alternatives. For example, the "Chocolate" tastes more like dark chocolate than the sweeter milk chocolate most are used to. Not too rich, which is usually a deterrent for me for long-term use.I have noticed better energy levels throughout the day than compared to eating out, which usually causes the mid day lull for me. I don't count calories very often, but this definitely beats most of the regular restaurants I usually go to for a quick bite.Overall, I am very happy with this drink so far. This is a VERY delicious meal replacement option! The vanilla is smooth and delicious (not even gritty at all, despite the plant-based protein) and also works as a perfect base to add to a morning smoothie or shake. I usually enjoy it by itself however. The lids are also interesting as they open fully yet have a little bit of a "flip-top" portion that prevents it from fully coming off. After shaking the bottle the liquid may pool inside the cap which can be annoying sometimes. The 35g of protein, 6g of fiber, and numerous other included vitamins/minerals makes this a great way to ensure you are getting what your body deserves, especially on busy days! The coconut sugar added is minimal, yet adds just enough sweetness to the shake. This is also perfect for those who hate the taste of Stevia. Furthermore, this makes sense price-wise (around $4.50/bottle) as you get both the convenience and nutritional value a single bottle provides. (I believe a single bottle is around a third of most peoples' protein goals.) I've been purchasing Huel for a while now and they've never disappointed me!
