This is definitely cute, but much smaller than expected

The first thing I noticed when I unpacked this turtle was that it rattles. Apparently there are loose parts inside that are now moving around. I attempted to open the battery box on the underside, but two of the four screws immediately stripped (they were just screwed into resin). I was able to open the box, unfortunately there is no way to get inside the turtle to see what exactly is loose in there. The lights worked, however I found that they wouldn't stay on if I used my finger to push the on/off button - using a pencil eraser worked better. The lights only stayed on for a few hours despite having a full charge. The turtle looks cute and the paint job is good, but I would not give it as a gift.

This solar powered turtle with colorful flowers is made very well and after one day of catching sun rays lights up very brightly at night! Brings the garden so much joy, I just wish it was a little bigger but overall I would recommend buying this as a cute addition to any garden especially turtle lovers!! Although kind of could pass as a dinosaur too 😉
