This is better, more comfortable, and FAR more economical than the Meta Quest headstrap. Pivoting arms at the halfway point allow for more comfortable use, the padding over the top strap is welcome, and the battery outlasts theirs by far. Only small point is that it won't show up the same in the Meta OS. You will only have the amount of charge of the installed battery. This headstrap battery simply works as an external charger. Finally, the back has a decorative RGB light, which is a nice touch.

And the new unit is working wonderfully!Original review: When we first got this strap and extended battery it was great but it began to last less and less time between charges. Now, a week outside of the return/exchange window, it will hardly charge. It's been plugged in for over 5 hours and it's only at 22%, and it was already at 17% when it was plugged in, so in 5 + hours it's charged 5%. Just placed an order for another one (a different brand) in hopes it will last longer than 3 months. Other than the not charging issue it was great. My kid was able to use it and adjust it herself and since it is adjustable she was able to play without feeling like it was falling off of her head.

The Oculus Quest 2 head strap is a great upgrade from the standard one. It offers much better comfort and support, especially during longer gaming sessions. This makes the meta quest headset so comfortable! Our battery life was lasting literally 15 minutes, so I got this mostly for the battery which now last hours! It feels a little heavy when you hold it, but when you wear it it counter balances the weight of the headset and takes the pressure off of your forehead and cheekbones. It feels like you aren’t wearing anything, it’s super comfortable. The quest should have been made with this from the beginning. It was a little hard for me to put on just because I didn’t know how the straps even came off, and the instructions were not super helpful, but I figured it out on my own within just a few minutes. I love how easy it is to adjust too! My husband has a really big head, and my daughter obviously has a much smaller head, and they can easily adjust it to fit perfectly. No more wrestling with the slider adjustments, just turn the dial on the back. Genius design!

I've used this headstrap for over a year now. My only complaint is the hinge randomly snapped last week granted I used my vr headset for 2-3 hours everyday. Great battery life, very comfy. I went back to thr stock headband and went HECK NA. Great item, would recommend

Great and brings some balance. I do not feel this is heavier because of how it sets on the head.Battery is good and provides long workouts on the VR. Recommend!

This was a little tricky to get on since the instructions weren’t very detailed, but I looked up a video tutorial that made it super simple.The pack replaces your existing headband, and is much easier to adjust if you have multiple people using the headset, and stays on a lot better than the standard headband. In my opinion it’s much more comfortable too.The battery does in fact last for around 4 hours of play time, and you never have to unplug it. Simply charge the external battery until it and the internal one are both full and you are good to go! Well worth the price.
