Good
Alright, so I recently got my hands on the "Mat" Desk Chair Mat, and I've got some mixed feelings about it. It's not exactly mind-blowing, but it does the job well enough for the price.Let's start with the positives. The "Mat" is made from durable material that seems like it can stand up to daily use without wearing out too quickly. It's got a nice thickness to it, so it provides a decent amount of protection for your floors against the wheels of your office chair. Plus, it's transparent, so it doesn't stand out too much and lets the aesthetics of your flooring shine through.Installing it was pretty straightforwardโjust unroll it and let it flatten out for a bit, and you're good to go. It doesn't slide around too much once it's in place, which is a big plus. And it's easy to clean, too. Just give it a quick wipe-down with a damp cloth, and any spills or messes are gone in no time. But here's where things get a little iffy. While the "Mat" does a decent job of protecting your floors, it's not the smoothest surface to roll your chair on. It's a bit rougher than I expected, which can make it a little harder to move around, especially on carpet. And if you've got a heavier chair, it can leave indentations in the mat over time, which isn't ideal.Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly option to protect your floors from your office chair, the "Mat" Desk Chair Mat gets the job done. It's durable, easy to install, and easy to clean. Just be aware that it might not offer the smoothest rolling experience, especially if you've got a heavier chair or thick carpet.

Cheap insurance against floor damage
An inexpensive measure against floor damage. Cheap insurance against expensive floor damage, if you're OK with the dull dark grey finish. The mat comes folded much like a set of sheets, so when unfolded, there are notable creases. Included are instructions to iron out the creases, which I followed. One side of this comes with a removable film which, when removed, reveals a tacky surface that is meant to keep the mat in place. While it does not feel like an adhesive (which you might not want on your floor), only time will tell how easy (or not) it is to clean up. The mat stays in place and does not add too much rolling friction to your wheeled chair.

Does the job mostly.
Works ok for my needs. It isn't as stiff as I thought it would be, but the material is thick enough to provide a stable surface for my chair to not roll unintentionally. It lays flat; however, it does bunch slightly.

Worth every penny 10/10!!!!!!
I have hardwood floors and I must say this definitely saved them from my gaming chair, the quality of this floor mat is as expected to be. When it arrived it was extremely easy to setup and easy to unroll. Overall I rate this 5/5.

Updated reviewโฆ
Update: So apparently there was an extra plastic cover on the bottom of the mat. It was noisy and the mat kept moving. When I went to throw it out, I noticed it was peeling back and the surface underneath has a grippy texture and keeps it from movingโฆso yeahโฆbetter. BUT the felt-like material is not great and there is lint but it does stay in place now. So I gave it two more points to be fair. This mat doesnโt stay in place. Itโs extremely thin and low quality. Itโs a thin sheet of felt on a plastic like material. The felt will eventually get into the wheels on the chair. I would return but I threw out the box and do t wanna bother. Ordering another option after I move in January. Waste of moneyโฆ
