Our powder-coated, steel chairs with big bulky cushions have been slowly rusting at the bottom of the legs and it was time to replace them. I wanted a set of chairs which didn’t need cushions (had to bring those in whenever it rained, and then store them somewhere over winter), and ones which were made from aluminum so they wouldn’t rust and could withstand being outside all summer. All the local big box stores sold steel sets. I saw these and they fit the bill perfectly..The packaging is very robust and well executed. These will arrive damage-free. There are essentially four pieces; two side frames, the seat, and the back. They are each bolted in place with four stainless steel Allen screws, washers, and nuts. It’s a little tricky for one person to assemble but easy with two. The supplied Allen keys are good. The very thin wrenches not so much. I used 10mm and 14mm wrenches from my tool kit for better leverage. The nuts have separate black plastic push-on caps to make them more aesthetically pleasing after assembly. They go on the outside of the seat section and on the backside of the rear. I decided to put the nuts on the inside of the seat section and let the silver Allen heads show on the outside sides. I know that plastic caps get lost and the nut assembly would look messy with a missing cap. The chairs themselves are actually very attractive and feel substantial, with only a slight flex in the legs. I didn’t need to adjust the plastic feet and simply screwed them in fully. There are two spare feet in each kit should you lose or wear a couple out..The width of the seat is wide and will accommodate even the heaviest of hips. The shape of the seat section is also very comfortable without the need for a cushion. Just what I wanted! Of course, a thin, loose seat cushion could be added should you wish to add some more padding..I am actually very pleased with this purchase. I bought two sets to have four chairs. For the price, they are sturdy, durable, look great, and are ultra-comfortable to sit on. These will last several years and so the price is very reasonable at $179 for two, though I see they’ve increased to $210 as I write this review. Still worth buying though, even at this higher price.

I purchased 6 of these chairs and they were easy to put together.The chairs are wide, comfortable and sturdy. Their decorative design and coloring have added a beautiful look to my pergola and backyard.Very happy.

Decent chairs for price…screws that are exposed not so pretty be sure to know screw sizes are different for back of chair and bottom assembly. Not sure how they’ll survive Texas heat and honestly they are v heavy so I’m wondering if they are aluminum?

The two chairs look great. The packaging was outstanding (well protected and well thought out). I think the chairs as packed could have survived being dropped from a 50 story building. As easy to assemble as can be expected; it does take two people - one to hold things in place while the other handles the wrench. I recommend using your own wrench rather than the tiny one that is provided. The comfort of the chairs is good - not as great as some other reviewers have stated, but quite acceptable for metal chairs like this. The bronze color is extremely attractive. My wife and I highly recommend these chairs.

The color of the chairs is hammered bronze, not black as the picture shows. Nice color. Very sturdy. Installation instruction is clear. Very well packaged.

Purchased as replacement for one piece cast aluminum patio chairs. These are very sturdy and good looking pieces, and come with extra footpads, which is nice as they do wear out when the chairs are used on concrete. Assembly is easy once you figure out the first one. The only thing that makes no sense is that plastic covers are provided for exposed screws, some of which are not visible under the chairs, but there should be a set to cover the recessed screw heads on the chair backs, which are highly visible.

Easy to assemble, comfortable, high quality materials and manufacturing, and they look great.
