Yes, it works!
As soon as it arrived I calibrated it using the adjustment screw. There was a cold front and severe storm system on the way. (I had to convert the local weather data I have from inches to millibars.) It moved as expected and has maintained accuracy ever since.It only reads barometric pressure. Nothing fancy and I like the size. Read and follow the directions and it should work as expected.

Good to know Barometric Pressure During Gulf
Easy to read. I'm old so that's a plus. While large numerals, instrument takes up small wall space which aids in placing in convenient space.I've checked couple of times with local weatherman and it seems to accurately reflecting the pressure.

Built like a cheap toy
The adjustment pointer did not match up to the face on mine. I turned the screw both ways to find the middle of the adjustment. Then removed the ring and glass. I turned the face to align the pointer to the correct hourly weather setting on the Mbar. I then put the stationary pointer on my known average setting for my altitude. I drilled a new hole so it would hang top up.Also the barometer picture shows a much broader scale when you look at the placement of two pointers than is possible on this toy. Please read the scale on the picture and do the math. Your actual Mbar scale of movement is a small fraction of movement compared to the span of the cloud pictures. After all that as the pressure changed over 24 hrs the dial never moved at all.

Not happy
I set to to where I live in VT and it has not moved much.Today is a sunny day with a few clouds and it is showing clouds and rain.The temperature today is 70° and 60° humidity. I am not sure it works.
