I wanted a standing desk that would work with my short frame (I'm 5'2") and Steelcase Series 1 office chair. I first became aware of Uplift after reading the Wirecutter review, and I'm glad I spent the money. The desk is clearly high quality. It goes low enough for me to sit ergonomically. Switching to standing position takes about 10 seconds for a 15" difference, which feels fast to me. This package on Amazon is a great deal for such a high quality desk. I love that it comes with the rocker: I use the Uplift one now and gave away my old footrest to my spouse. I highly recommend Uplift to anyone looking for a (hopefully) long-lasting desk and way to reduce hip and knee tightness from sitting all day. Just FYI the tabletop arrived a few days after the legs which the helpful customer service person said sometimes happens with FedEx.

Grommet is a very cheap quality but overall excellent desk and customer service

I work from home so I really need a nice desk. The one I bought is 72'' and it is almost perfect. It looks nice, it is very sturdy, the assembly was not too bad.But the cable management tray included is rather ridiculous ! Small and flimsy - absolutely inadequate for any serious setup. Yes, there are the ties included in the package but this should not be so difficult.Why not include a stable tray running the entire length of the table? The cable management is very poor for a product of this quality and price. Rather disappointing!

After watching a post on YouTube of someone rating of 9 electric stand-type desks, Uplift came out pretty high in the B category among of the rest. Some of the desks were way out of my price range ($6,999) to cheaply put together desks using the lowest quality part to save money. One desktop was made of 2 pieces in order to save shipping costs.What stood out for me on this desk is that there is a stabilizing bar between legs to prevent the desk from jarring or falling over. Plus the desk weighs a lot.Instructions to put the desk together was made easier by watching a video of someone putting it together. So far, so good. I am happy with its.
