Just recently, I served in a dual capacity as both a groomsman and the officiant at a friend's wedding. While I wore the same suit as other members of the wedding party, I wore this stole to set myself off while serving in the capacity of the officiant. It worked great and looked nice. It's made of good-quality material, so it should last a while.

Keeps sliding off

This review for a very inexpensive clergy stole. First off, it is really short. I am 6 feet tall, went to my waist. I have heard these called hospital stoles, and own a couple. Great for a walking application, like in a hospital. I knew that when I purchased this, thought it might work.Unfortunately, quality is very poor. The cross looked good, but when I started unfolding it, started to see loose threads, found one part of the side is not even fully sewn. It will need several areas where loose threads need to be trimmed, and separation areas will need to be sewn together before it can used use, and look OK. Of course it is 100% polyester, so very thin. After fixed it would be good for outdoor weddings, destination weddings (should pack neatly), or things like marches where your stole may get wet or stained.Unfortunately with the lack of quality, I can not give more than 2 stars. Purchases should not require repair before first use.
