Every kid needs a 1” binder at some point of their school career. Lots of adults can also use a binder, for any number of reasons. I like to use one to plan trips, which we take two or three times a year. I use a small binder to print our itinerary for each day, and any associated documents or information that may be helpful, such as maps of museums, tickets for tours, tips for finding great restaurants, etc. I used one to plan a large family reunion several years ago, and it helped so much. Anyway, this little 4-pack of 1” binders caught my eye, because they come in cute pastel colors. I know my younger granddaughters will love the colors, and the binders will be great to hold their daily school work, homework assignments, art work, etc. The covers, both front and back, have a clear plastic cover that allows you to slip in a descriptive title page, custom art, or whatever appeals to you. The inside of each cover has a smallish pocket, to slip in smaller items, or papers that you don’t necessarily want to hole punch. I did remove one star, because I feel this item is somewhat overpriced. I’ll admit that the unique colors make it an attractive set. But I’m not sure that is worth the extra cost, when you could get a plain white binder for just a couple of dollars. These will make the girls happy, though, and that’s worth it to me.

These are very standard three-ring binders, without any real surprises. Four in the pack, in four different pastel colours. Each has the usual pocket on the inside of the cover, front and back. The binder rings open and close crisply on the four that I received, and the quality is overall decent.One star removed because one of the binders (the pink one) has the inside-cover pocket poorly sealed to the cover and it was already peeling back when I received it, I don't imagine that will last too long in use.

Fortunately for me these binders are actually 3inches not 2. I really needed 3 inch binders so this was a pleasant surprise. However if you want 2inch binders then that would be a problem.The structure of the binders are good quality and I anticipate they will hold up over time. Overall very happy with these binders.

I ordered these for my teen-aged granddaughter for the upcoming school year. I chose binders with the 1" wide spines that are designed to hold about 175 sheets of paper as I thought it would be the most versatile size. She likes to have separate notebooks for each class, so I appreciate that the set includes four binders. The colors are a very pale pastel and are very pretty, and since they have clear plastic pockets on the exterior covers and for the spine, she can add her own decorations as desired. These are rather light-weight binders; the cover boards bend easily and the steel spring mechanism is not very sturdy when compared to the name-brand binders I usually purchase that seem to last forever. These are more of a binder that I would expected to replace every year. However, the rings open and close easily, and they do snap closed completely, so pages don't get stuck or ripped on a partially opened ring, or come out of the binder completely, all of which I'm sure most of us have had happen at some point or another (for me, it was usually when I wanted to turn something in that was in pristine condition). The covers open up completely so the pages lie flat, making it easier to take notes. And the pages don't get crumpled or torn at the corners when turning them. There are two thin pockets on the inside to hold extra loose papers, which is always handy. The binders arrived neatly packed packed in a light box to save space.

The description can be a little confusing. You do not get a variety of sizes based on the color. I got an assortment of colors all the same size as 1" just what I hoped for. It mentions red, but the color is just as the picture looks (pink). The binders are a lot better quality than the dollar store ones I have. I have received one with a smudge on the cover, but it's not a deal breaker to me as it's light.

These binders are great. Very sturdy and I love the pastel colors. They have clear pockets on the front and back, and internal pockets as well. The rings are secure and lock well. I would recommend these binders to others.

You can slide a paper in the front and back of the binder behind a clear front if you want to do that. The colors of these 4 binders are pretty pastel. Very sturdy three ring binders.
