The real problem is I can no longer drink tapwater. Even the supposed “clean water” taste stale and dirty without my filters.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect fit, great taste, works well with my epic glass water bottle! A little pricey but lasts 3-4 months !

I drink a lot of water. Three years ago I decide to try to cut down on plastic use when possible and this seemed like a very simple way to do so. I cannot imagine how many single use bottle I have saved in that time.When I first bought my Nalgene with an Epic water filter it was the original with the black or orange casing (depending on your choice) completely disposable filter. I LOVED it.Now that there are they replaceable filters I have come to realize that there are pros and cons. I cannot say one really outweighs the other so I’m just going to focus on this one since it’s what we have.Pro:more components are reusable so less garbage$5 cheaper if you just by the replaceable filterSeems to be little bit longer than the original so there is less water that I cannot reach -something that has always been annoyingCon-Make sure that you remove the top portion of the casing or you will not have all that you need - this is more of an anecdotal recommendation than a con. I threw mine away when first trying to use the replacement filter and had to buy a whole new filter because I no longer had the cap where the straw attaches.The casing for the filter easily screws apart during use. It’s annoying.The inside of the casing gets super gross from housing the filter. Maybe consider keeping more than one on hand to wash and switch them out.I hate seeing how disgusting the filter is since the casing opens so easily. I can barely stand to use it for full three months. This just contributes to more waste.Often on backorder or not available even on the Epic site

I purchased 3 of these, and so far love them; they make my water taste amazingly pure!But one of them came missing the gasket on top, so if your is missing one as well just reach out to them and they'll ship you one. It does not work without the gasket.

The changed the filters and they SUCK!!! Will be looking for a new flouride filter water bottle company. These new filters don’t filter out anything

I got this filter because of the Epic water bottle I have which works awesome been used it for about 6 months now, when I changed it it was fairly easy and straightforward and I definitely going to pick up about a year or two worth just to have on standby because these kind of go in and out of stock give or take here and there... best value for money and don't feel like I'm wasting a bunch of plastic at the same time good stuff😎👍
