These colourful cable protectors take a bit of time to apply to each cable, but the result is great.Can colour code, or just make wires look pretty and in our case are protecting from cats who love to bite cables!!Worth the time to apply and a great price.Highly recommend combining with connector protectors 👍🏻 the solid pieces you can see in the photo helps to stop the wire breaking at hinge points!

Product is nice, however it's painstaking to use. Suggest cutting cable protector in half even if the cable to be covered is long.

I bought these as part of my grand plan to protect our various cables from the sharp teeth of our five month old kittens. These were specifically bought to protect a cable that cannot to replaced with a cheaper generic. The application is fiddly and time consuming, and also very attractive to kittens as there are long dangly things twisting and turning. However once applied the cable is so much sturdier, and the joint that is so prone to damage on Apple cables is well secured. I will admit I haven’t had the patience to apply them to any other cables yet, but I know I will when I have the time.

These are a fantastic & cost effective way to protect new & 'repair' any damaged small power, charging or headphone cables.I have used these on my Plantronics Headset Cable that deteriorated in multiple location, right down to bare wires. I just wrapped a whole length over all the chafing and delaminated sections of the cable & 'VOILA'...just like new. I also use then to reinforce new & damages iOS Charging Cables at both ends. Cut two lengths about 50mm long and coiled them onto the damages & new ends. FANTASTIC....no more deterioration. One piece of advice is to add a small drop of Superglue at the end of each coil to keep it in place and stop it catching on clothing e.g. my headphones. Highly recommend these cheap but effective little product.

Very small and hard to attach to wires

Took ages to wrap around the cable but they added a nice look to them. Sadly my bunny was able to chew through them very easily so wasn’t much use to me.

I can't vouch for their longevity as I've only just put these on various charging cables to protect them from wear and tear and being chewed by pets, but first impressions are positive. There is an art to wrapping these round cables and it takes longer than you think, but it's worth it for the cosmetic improvement alone. The way I managed to get these round cables without unsightly ridges or the wire simply unravelling was to stretch the wire to its max while winding it around the cable. I found that you need to be careful not to twist the cable itself as that can lead to the damage that these cable protectors are designed to prevent. I love the colours and I'm sure no one will try to pinch my charger leads from my desk now I've put these protectors on. All in all, a good value purchase.

These are brilliant if you have cats that like to chew wires, a little time consuming to apply but not difficult at all and really protect the wires.
