Used these on a beach vacation and loved them. Not as thick as a SandCloud but got worked just as well. I am going to purchase a second set I loved them so much. One for home and one for the camper.

Even though they are thin I expected these towels to absorb more quickly. Perhaps that'll happen as I use them more. Also I swim outdoors in winter in Northern FL in a heated pool. Due to the lack of absorbency I would not recommend if you're one who gets cold or swim in cold places. They're just not quickly or efficiently absorbent enough to avoid getting really chilly. They are nice looking towels and might look cool to sew into a cover-up.
