If you’re looking at this listing, and you’re a passionate gardener like me, then you know that these true black morning glory seeds can be extremely difficult to find. So, I was so thrilled to see them on Amazon that I paid $10 total (five bucks for the seeds, another five for shipping), Because I wanted to get these puppies germinating and nice and strong in time for planting them outdoors in the spring.The good news: he’s had a pretty high germination rate, and beyond that most of the seedlings are growing healthy Lee with no issues.Unfortunately, as you can see from the picture not only did I not receive the specific type of flour I was expecting, I receive seeds that produce flowers that don’t look anything like what I was expecting! That is to say, they’re even paler than traditional standard morning glories!I waited a few weeks to allow time for additional flowers to bloom, Just to be extra certain before publishing this review.Sadly, I have had four vines produce flowers so far, and I suppose it’s also good news if they are all consistent – however if I wanted morning glories of his color I could’ve gone to the Home Depot in my neighborhood and gotten the standard seeds off the shelf (for a lot less money ) instead of putting in this special order.I’m going to try to find a neighbor or a family member who might have a use for the flowers of this color, because unfortunately, the color of flower isn’t going to match the other choices that I have made for bulbs etc. in my garden.

Planted back in April 2023, as of August 2023 still nothing has bloomed, looks more like weeds to me.

All seeds germinated. I soaked the seeds for 48 hours and planted them in new potting soil. I made sure to lightly water them with liquid Miracle Gro. Sometimes using just water as suggested. I must tell you that with every other day using the Miracle Gro fertilizer ALL the seeds germinated and I will end up having to give away some of these plants. Excellent product and highly recommend purchasing. I also purchased the package of multi-colored clematis seeds and all seeds bloomed healthy plants.

I purchased these last year, and was so impressed that I just purchased more. I germinated the seeds before planting along our deck posts, and the vines grew a bit faster than the Heavenly Blue seeds that I purchased locally. The blooms were a deep, gorgeous, purple.
