Hello, first I would like to say that I have read reviews on here about breaking and adhesive issues, I am here to cut through the nonsense and give you a clear, sensible,honest and intelligent review, with that said, let's get started.These magnets are extremely strong, they came with a plastic insert between each magnet to help separate them a little to make it easier to remove each individual magnet, I recommend that you turn and slide them apart and not pull, why? Well because if you pull and you lose your grip (which is highly possible) they can "smash" together and break, I simply turned my magnets, one by one as needed and slid it off sideways, absolutely no issues and absolutely no breakages, now for the double sided adhesive tape, it's seems made of a thin foam type double sided adhesive and I tested it, it is very very sticky, now I will say, as with any tape or adhesive, if you do not prepare both surfaces you can have adhesion issues, not the adhesives fault, but the fault of the user, you should clean both the magnet (both sides) and the surface you plan to mount it to with a non oil type cleaner, I used 99% isopropyl alcohol (which can damage certain surfaces so be careful and test it out), after I cleaned the entire magnet and the surface I wanted it to stick to, I allowed the alcohol to dry for at least a minute or more, then I applied the tape to the surface, then applied the magnet to the tape, held it on with pressure from my finger for about a minute or two and voilà!!, A very strong bond between the adhesive to magnet and the adhesive to surface, so moral of this story is, be aware the magnets are strong so don't let them crash together, slide them apart and always prepare your joing surfaces, always.That's all I have for ya, take care and best of luck.I give this product 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Powerful magnets! A few did come broken, but I was still able to use them all.

Works well to keep my slide out cabinet closed. First attemt the double sided tape did not hold. Added a couple drops of super glue and it works well

I bought these to help hold up an older fridge shelf that kept falling down. Wow, I tell you what these are so powerful. My shelf is so sturdy and definitely will not fall off the fridge now. I will but these again for other projects in the future.

Super strong, was holding onto the mailbox even though they were packaged well 😂. Do proceed with caution, two attracted each other and slammed together because they were too close and shattered them. Learn from experience, keep them far far away from each other. I will definitely order more in the future.

The magnets are great, very powerful and excellent for what I needed. Unfortunately the double sided adhesive tape isn't strong enough to hold them.

These DIYMAG bar magnets are surprisingly powerful for their size. They have a strong adhesive backing that sticks well to most surfaces. I've used them to organize tools and hold up my video lights. They're definitely worth considering if you need powerful, compact magnets.

First, good value, paid $0.75 a magnet which is less expensive than most of the other similar size magnets I looked at. Not sure why others had problems with batteries being delivered broken. Came very well packaged. Each magnet was seperated by a thick, stiff piece of plastic. The plastic allowed the magnets to stay together during shipping yet provides easy seperation when needed. The plastic container the magnets came in also had protective foam pads to protect the magnets during shipping. Also in the containers were double-sided adhesive foam pads used to attach the magnets to any surface, which provided further protection. Neodymium, although a great material for magnets is weak and brittle. It is very important to remember to SLIDE the magnets apart when seperating. Do not try and pull them apart or, else, you risk snapping/breaking them in two. Also, if the magnets do break you can still use them. I had to cut a few in half to get the right size. The magnets will not be affect by cutting (or breaking) them into different size pieces.

They are quite strong magnets, with their shape making them very useful for holding things in place. The cost per magnet is unparalleled, as well, being the cheapest neodymium magnets I could fine.I highly recommend these over circle magnets for things you don't want to move often. The only problem you might have is that they are so powerful you might have trouble detaching them.

Very strong magnet they are brittle I drop two of them and they broke in two but obviously still work and not a product failure it was my own fault. They still work perfectly for what I needed.

I needed something to help hold open my dryer door while I transferred laundry from the washer. I attached them to the adjacent metal door jam. These magnets are nice and strong. Absolutely did the trick!

While they are in fact, fairly powerful magnets, they shattered so easily, and unintentionally. When they snapped together basically right out of the packaging, the cheap coating around them broke off, as well as snapped one of them in half! Avoid at all costs.
