We found this box to be high quality and perfect for our needs to house the transformer for our video doorbell. It comes with everything you'll need to surface mount it as well as weatherproof cable connectors if you need to use it outside. It's a wonderful surprise to find this kind of quality at a reasonable price. We're glad to recommend this to others.

You will need to drill your own holes for connectors. But that is what I wanted. But be aware. Also, they don't provide screws to anchor your components to the back plate. Can't be too long or to fat. Otherwise, the box is built well and a good value.

Used to replace an electronic item where the latch on the box broke. This one is more hearty and the metal latched more secure. Easy to work on and modify. May buy another just to have on hand.

I bought this as a junction box for Xmas lights in my front yard and it works great has been through several rain storms and it’s still dry inside

I don't know why this is listed as frequently returned. This is a great little weather resistant box. I'm currently using it to tidy up the extra wiring for my security camera. My only complaint is not with the box itself, But the fact there's no instructions on how to install it. I used a paddle bit to drill the hole in the side. I have a cinder block home. So I need a special drill bit to drill into the cinder block.

No pre-drilled penetrations - allows maximum flexibility. Nice box.
