My husband and I just downsized, quite significantly, with our recent home purchase. Functional and multi use items are a must in our 875 sq ft cabin. The litterbox placement was driving me crazy in our spare bathroom/laundry room, and I also needed small appliance storage.For the price of what is essentially a small bench that is common with other litterbox furniture, I was able to purchase this. I didn’t have high expectations, but this is surprisingly sturdy and well designed. I had no issues putting it together, though Phillips head screws would’ve been preferred to make quick work with my drill. The instructions were easy to follow and all parts were accounted for.I ordered the light brown “wood.” In person, it kind of looks like a light walnut. I really like that it doesn’t have a gray hue to it. In terms of temperature, I would say it’s a fairly neutral color.Functionality- the hatch is easy to open to access the litter box. The space will accommodate a standard litter box. Although it came with its own storage bins, I found that the bottom shelves are also perfect for a regular storage cube in case you don’t want your clutter showing.I would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a way to hide a litter box.

I love it! It's very pretty. I chose the darker looking wood look. It suits our needs perfectly. As you can see, I put in some fake grass that will gather up the litter inside and outside.A regular size cat box 17 x 15 fits perfectly sideways, allowing the cat to step inside and then into the box, instead of having to step directly into the cat box and directly out of the box.Putting it together was a little bit tedious. You have to pay attention to the directions. It's a bit annoying that the only item you can use to screw in the screws is the provided Allen wrench. But all good things come to those who wait. Patience is a virtue. When you put in the back wall, you can choose to have the hole at the top or the bottom. We chose to have the hole at the top for ventilation and because we didn't want cat litter being kicked out against the wall. The directions say to put it at the bottom. The only purpose you might have for that is if you have an electric cat box set up of some sort or if it's a an area for your cat to bed down and they have an electric heating blanket.All in all this is a recommended beautiful edition to our decor. I love being able to display my books. I love to read.

This shelf is perfect to hide my kitty box! It was easy to build. My cats have never had a covered litter box and they took to it quickly. The only thing I didn’t like is the back piece is a thin flimsy piece. I feel it could have been made to be more solid. Overall, I think it’s worth the price and looks great!

I love this. I tweaked it a bit and did not add the divider on the bottom shelf and put the two drawers on the shelf above so that I could keep my cats food and water on the top of the cabinet! It is very sturdy. I did not have any issues with bumps or scrapes. Very easy to follow instructions and put together.

I hate the look of a litter box and people have no idea it’s there. Great size and easy excess to clean the box.

I failed to look at the specs. It is WAY SMALLER than it looked in the pictures, definitely not worth the money I spent for it, even with it being cheaper than original price. It comes about chest high, I'm 5'5. My litter box barely fit inside of it, and there is barely room for my cats to go in and out. Huge waste of money, the boards are thin and could break easily. It looks nice and went together fairly easily with the directions. Wish I had paid better attention. I will use it for a while, then sell it once I find something more to my liking.

I'm glad I got this, it looks great and is pretty sturdy. Putting together sucked super bad we had it take it apart a few times to flip parts and reassemble but over pleased.Great value foe the money and will last. I only wish there were a little edge at the entrance/exit to help with little litter tickets.

I wanted to like this sooooo much because it IS a nice shelf and is very convenient for storage, especially in small spaces. However, the litter enclosure can really only accommodate a small litter box, like kitten size. Even a 17” box that is 4 or 6 inches deep will take up most of the room inside the enclosure, as well as block at least half of the entrance hole. Now my major issue is that the holes for the top shelf are NOT lined up, so the top shelf was very noticeably on a slant after I screwed it in. I’m not about to drill some holes into the metal bar to straighter it out. The holes for the bottom divider shelf were also misaligned so I couldn’t even try to install it. Now I’m stuck with a piece of furniture that I will never be able to use for its intended purpose. Unless Amazon will pick this up from my doorstep I’m not disassembling it and dragging it to some store to return it.
