I have an Afro-Bohemian-style home. I got this rug because I liked the material and wanted something to cover my wood floor and protect it. We have two dogs who shed notoriously, one struggling with potty training. Day 1 - one of our dogs peed on the rug. I was worried about it but knew it was inevitable, so I used my wet vacuum to clean it, and it worked. Granted, I have a pretty good quality wet vac; there was no damage to the fibers. We use a vacuum with the option for wood floors, which is gentle on the pull and works very well with the rug.I can see how, over time, the rug can get frayed and undone, but for the cost - for now, it will be fine for us. Our dogs don't dig or rip things up, bringing the space together.

I don’t ever write reviews, but this rug was defintley worthy of a 5 star review. Looks fabulous by our front door inside our home.

We bought this rug right before the holiday. I was nervous buying a rug online without seeing it in person. It arrived and I was pleasantly surprised! The only thing I would do differently or suggest to another buyer is to grab a rug pad to put under it. It does slip slightly. I was also concerned that it would not be comfy to the barefoot and it is soft to the touch! I does shed slightly.

It fits the room aesthetic, comfortable and easy on the bare feet. It does SHED. Little pieces break off all the time and we vacuum/sweep frequently.

I like both pieces very much however I ordered a third one a 12 x 9 and it’s been delayed day after day. If somebody in Amazon is reading this? Can you please look into it thank you.

This rug is insane full of wet mold.....Its really super bad and wet. Absorption packages inside but this rug was somehow in water at one point. The rug is FULL OF INSANE MOLD and was delivered WET DAMP inside the two plastic covers. Extremely disappointed that something like this would even be shipped out to a customer. Love the rug but I can't use it in this shape... I needed this so bad for an event and I can't use it. Its so moldy, I had to put it in an empty unit away from everything so that the mold wouldn't get on my good things.NEED TO KNOW THIS WAS RECEIVED OFFICIALLY. DO NOT WANT CHARGED FOR TWO RUGS.I RECEIVED THE REPLACEMENT AND IT IS GREAT. JUST NEED TO KNOW THE DAMAGED ONE WAS RECEIVED. WE RETURNED DAMAGED MOLDY RUG TO UPS STORE (TRACKING # 1Z6V51959020223851) SEPT 15, 2023....We have PROOF OF DELIVERY from UPS. Delivered to HEBRON, KY on 9/18/23

This rug is nice. I didn’t have any of the issues other reviewers had. It was clean, packaged well, and doesn’t have any flaws. I would recommend this rug to anyone looking for the rustic raw jute style.Updated review: After putting a black leather couch next to this rug, we can see that it is shedding fibers all over no matter how much you vacuum. Otherwise it is a decent quality rug.
