Level 8? Or Level 10 🤔
I have been debating on which zipper-less carryon for some time. I couldn’t justify a Rimowa. So I came up with a list of three. This level 8 case, Floyd and eastpak register. One of my deciding factors was shipping as I live in one of the most isolated places on the planet. (Even 3 months out isn’t enough)This bag exceeded most of my expectations. Very clean lines, minus the badge; no unessacary add ons. Inside was well thought out. In particular the retentions strap. A solid non elastic strap, velcro as well as metal clips inside. The wet pouch is more of an after thought as it is not water tight seal. The handles are incredibly solid, soft close is a high quality feel. The real stand out are the wheels. In most places the case glides across the floor. Yes glide like Fred Astaire. Roads in Rome or the Netherlands it be better to carry.

The check-in version of this luggage is so awesome, I came back for the carry-on.
I have this bag in the larger size and it continues to be one of the best pieces of luggage I’ve owned so after having the longest checked bag experience in Cancun recently, I decided to get the carry-on as well. Looking forward to using the suitcase the lock feature is always my favorite part of this bag. I love that the handle on the carry-on is just as long as the handle on the check-in bag so it makes it super easy for me to put my backpack on top and maneuver through the airport. I’m interested to see if the carry-on still allows for me to carry my CPAP like the check-in version does.

I recommend this baby. Not even padlocks are needed
It traveled with me to McAllen, TX, Dallas, Texas, Haneda, Japan, Manila, then Iloilo, Philippines and then the same upon my return. That baby is as durable as a rock and super easy to handle.

Handsome trunk style case; scratches easily.
The media could not be loaded. After spending about 10 hours (probably more like 40!) looking at every possible suitcase on Amazon, I decided on the Level 8 24” checked luggage in black. It came I was thrilled. I love the trunk style as opposed to the zipper style. The wheels are phenomenal. The extendable handle is phenomenal. I was excited to take it on my first trip to Copenhagen in just a few weeks. The first leg of my journey was on an Amtrak train where I put it in an overhead bin. Much to my dismay it immediately gouged and scratched one side of the suitcase. I nearly cried (not to be dramatic lol) but by the time I landed in Copenhagen, after two connections, there were enough scratches on it that I felt like a patina at that point. I got over the crying bit in a hurry. I love everything about this case with the exception of the side panels, which are not very thick and bulge when you load the suitcase, and the easily scratched surface is disappointing. Of course, most luggage scratches so I guess it’s within the tolerance. Perhaps they could’ve done a little bit better on the materials, with that said, all in all I absolutely love this suitcase and I can’t wait to go on my next trip. Life is too short to cry over scratched luggage. Happy travels everyone!

Durable and reliable to take a beating through an airport.
I used these on a recent trip for work. Both the larger case and this one survived the abuse through an airport. I would recommend them highly.

Looked good at first, But did not hold up at all. Do not reccomend
Upon initial receipt of the Level 8 suitcase I was impressed. I did a lot of research before purchasing and this checked all of the boxes and features that I was looking for. However that excitement has quickly faded…After 3 small trips, this suitcase has shown to lack durability and build quality.1. The first trip was from Southern to Northern California. The metal buckle on the velcro strap broke, so there is no longer a securing strap for the open face of the luggage.2. Trip 2 was a short international trip from California to Mexico. The fabric in the corner of the zippered face began to separate, and it has worsened since.3. And finally on its 3rd voyage from CA to NYC, the front of the suitcase added a deep, 6 inch long gash. This was the first time I checked the bag, and this could be the fault of careless baggage handlers, however after 3 short trips, the bag looks like it has been around the world and beaten up.I know this isn’t the most high end expensive luggage, but I didn’t think it was of such poor quality either. See the pictures attached, however I do not recommend the Level 8 suitcase due to is terrible durability.

Love it
I utilize this as my carry-on and love it. Thus far, I have taken three trips with this carry-on and it has been very good for me, no issues as of yet.
