I've heard so much about this item that I had to get one and try it myself. I am so impressed with the ease of use and the strong seal it makes. It takes up zero room in my pantry and does the job beautifully.

I bought this to use to store fruit in. I buy a lot of strawberries because I put them out for some of the wildlife that hang out around my house. I usually purchase the larger containers of fresh fruit for a local bulk purchasing store. By the time I got to the last few strawberries - they would be mushy and gross. when I saw this advertised - I thought I would give it a try. It is super easy to use - and very handy to have around. Vacuum sealing definitely made the strawberries last longer. I have also stared using this for any left overs that I have. It works great for spag sauce, soups, crackers....whatever you want to save. It is quick and simple to use, and handy for camping as well. It holds a charge for a really long time. The packaging included lids to use and a charging cable. I just save my sauce jars and reuse them. Very convenient and the size makes it easy to store when not in use.

Seal quality was good on the regular lids, but not on the wide, it will seal one time on the wide and when you try again it wouldn't and the ring kept coming off. The charge stays up for along time and very easy to clean. Quality is great for regular lids, but not so good on the wide.

After reading several reviews with statements like "this is so much better than water bath canning", I felt a warning was in order. This is vacuum device for dry products like flour, sugar, pasta, dry herbs and the like. It does not kill bacteria or viruses and should not be used as a substitute for traditional home canning procedures for wet product.With that said, this is a great device to use to vacuum seal Mason jars. We've used ours so far with dry herbs of all kinds to make them last years in storage. Previously we've had to use a vacuum adapter with a hose connected to our vacuum sealer, which works fine but this tool saves a lot of time and works as advertised. Especially nice is the cordless design with rechargeable batteries - just plug the included USB charging cable into the unit and your charger just like a cell phone, then unplug the cable and start sealing.I do have a couple of product improvement suggestions for the manufacturer.1. It would be nice if you published how much vacuum the device actually pulled.2. Even if it added a couple of dollars, it would be nice if the unit shut off automatically when it reached maximum vacuum.3. The wide mouth / standard adapter works great but is a bit tedious to align when you're changing from on to the other. A simple alignment indentation on both the adapter and the motor housing would be a good help. (I notice the adapter has a gold colored stripe on it but I couldn't find a matching mark on the motor housing.

After leaving my original review, the seller contacted me and promised a full refund. However, they later demanded additional information about the product issues before processing the refund, despite having already provided all necessary details. When I complied with their request, they went back on their word and refused to issue the refund.This unprofessional behavior and failure to honor their promise reflect poorly on their customer service. The lack of follow-through and honesty has overshadowed the product’s positive attributes. I had been wanting to get one of these for quite awhile and the price was right on this model. It works great. It is fast. You do have to press down harder than you would think to get a good seal, but overall an excellent purchase.
