PERFECT FIT

Part was as described. The repair is above average and you should have some automotive repair skill, intermediate.Working space is small and some part removal can be frustrating, but if you are successful yourself a ton of money on labor.

A tough install for a driveway tinkerer, but it works!

First off, I am no mechanic. Your best friend will be online videos showing you how to change this out, even though the one I looked at included extra steps. I never loosened the bolts holding the window track and I was able to do this. Also note, the bolts that hold this to the door where the latch and striker meet. Those three bolts will most likely have one or more strip out on you. I went to my local big box hardware store and bought two metric bolts that matched these. I also bought a couple cobalt drill bits because my 3/16ths drill bits all turned to butter trying to drill out the old bolts.I had the buzz-of-death and initially thought it's just the Right Rear, I'll unplug it to avoid the buzz. But, if you do that then the rear hatch won't lock/unlock anymore... Great feature there Honda... So replacing the lock is really the only valid method.
