I have been wanting a butter crock for a while now and finally purchased this one when we had guests staying over that kept leaving butter on the counter. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and I LOVE that it’s red and adds a pop of color to the counter (also making it easy to find). It holds a full stick of butter without difficulty. I’ve enjoyed having soft butter without the mess or need to think about pulling it out of the fridge in advance.

I've had butter crocks before and they work great! The butter fits inside an inverted cup that is part of the lid. It fits inside the canister on the bottom. That canister holds enough water to touch the bottom of the cup. This creates an airtight seal which keeps the butter in the cup from turning rancid. You don't need to refrigerate it...that's the whole point. Room temperature butter remains soft and spreadable, even on soft white bread.This one is as good as and as durable as the expensive brand name crocks at half the price!

A friend recommended me to get one. It's the best... I've been looking for years for a good butter dish. This thing is the best ever. Great colors too. Well made. We love love it!!!

It’s adorable and looks like the pics, but when it came down to it, do I want to manage water and butter? And what about when my kids reuse the knife and bread crumbs fall into that water? I just got all grossed out by this. I have another counter butter container with a lid and have never had any issues with it so I’ll stick to that.

I'm still getting used to this, but it does what it says. I find it a little icky that it's wet when you bring it out, but that's my problem. It definitely helps keep the butter fresh.

I’ve never even heard of a butter croc until my husband told me about it. This croc is designed to keep your butter from going bad while keeping it soft. It’s easy to use and does exactly what I expected. I wish I would have bought one years ago, like be it.

Wishing I had paid more attention to the size. Perfect for a stick of butter but not the Euro sizes.

So glad the lid fits to the base way better than a prior one we had, of another brand.
