This has been working like a charm for the last couple of months. Make sure it's level, get a portable dolly for it and lock the wheels. Make sure to plug it in with a surge protector 24 hours after unpackaging it like the sticker says on the side of the unit. Owners manual diction and grammar are a small challenge, but whatever. I sought this one out because it has a narrow width, rather than being a square freezer. Trying to save floor space in a small kitchen. Perfect size for one or two people stocking up a little on frozen food.Edit: I am writing this edit only because I received an email from Amazon asking if i could assist another customer with the freezer's interior measurements. The interior is 23.75 inches deep, the horizontal opening at the to as you are standing in front of it is approx 20.00 inches, the vertical opening at the top is approx 10.25 inches. There is an interior shelf that covers the compressor to the right of the opening which i cannot measure at yhe moment because my freezer is full. The freezer withstood no power during Helene for 24 hours with only loss of two items that were on the top still cold but not frozen. Everything else was still frozen. If I had a furniture moving pad/blanket on hand, the freezer would have lasted another 24 hours, but I did not have one at the time last month. I read that if you wrap your chest freezers in furniture pads during power outages, the furniture pad gives the freezer an extra 24 hours of frozen time. It worked for me in a different hurricane in a different location so I am going to purchase a furniture pad for this freezer in case there is ever another prolonged power outage. They sell furniture pads on Amazon, or you can get inexpensive ones at Harbor Freight as well.This freezer would be pretty good for a small family's meat-only storage for 6 mos, or perfect for one or two people for mixed frozen storage. Worked really well all summer long. Lower power needs, very little frost build up. Just don't count on using the accessory wire basket- on the freezer I bought, the wire basket does not permit the freezer lid to close completely. I can live with that, so it still gets 5 stars. A "clamper" surge protector sold here on Amazon (approx $10) would be perfect for those awful "brown" surges that happen before a major power outage, and the mini fridge dollies here on Amazon are perfect for this freezer, which will bring it to roughly counter height.

Perfect size for my place. Gives me that extra room for frozen meats as well as food for my pet reptiles (frozen rats).

For extra food storage I live kinda in the country out of town store 2 towns over so comes in handy for overstock

Things are not staying frozen. Have juice in freezer for almost 2weeks not frozen. Don’t feel safe putting meet in there.
