The quality of the mold is pretty good. I can’t say it’s easy to use because the instructions are confusing.

My son loves chess and I was so excited to make a personalized chess set with him. These set worked like a dream and was so easy to use, even for a complete beginner resin user like myself. The pieces came out looking great and it comes with the little hinges and hardware needed for the board as well which was such a nice extra. We had so much fun using this set and look forward to making another set for a friend.

I recently purchased the silicone mold chess set for resin, and I must say, it's an excellent investment for any resin enthusiast. The quality and durability of the mold are truly impressive. I've used it three times already, and it has maintained its shape perfectly. The high-quality material gives me confidence in its longevity, despite the slight challenge of removing cured resin.The directions for assembling the chessboard are clear and concise, contributing to a seamless creation process. However, I wish there were more detailed instructions regarding the chess pieces. While I can easily find this information online, having a quick reference on the instruction sheet would be a convenient addition.One standout feature is the thoughtful design of the foldable set, allowing for easy containment of the pieces within the packaging. This not only enhances the overall convenience but also reflects the attention to detail by the manufacturer. Overall, I highly recommend this silicone mold chess set for resin to fellow enthusiasts who appreciate quality, durability, and well-thought-out design.

The instructions were not good and there also was barely any instructions and I could not find a video of anyone else using this mold besides the video on here and that helped a little but not much at all. My board came out buldged in the middle and it was spilling out between the two pieces when I was filling up the sides and my hinge spots came out horrible because of it spilling out so much and I had a book on top of it while it cured and I had to use binder clips to keep the four sides clipped down. Other than that it would be a great mold and make an amazing game

I love that unlike other chess molds that I have bought in the past this kit has enough pieces to cast an entire set at once. Most of the chess molds that I have gotten in the past only have one mold for each piece type, which is super annoying, especially with the pawns. This has one king, one queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and 8 pawns so you can cast a full set at once and not need to try to match your colors and fillings over and over again for each replicated piece. It will only take two casting sessions to make a complete game board with two sets of different colors.I also love that these are one piece molds and I don't need to glue two halves together to make each of the chess pieces. There are advantages and disadvantages to each type of mold, but I mush prefer this style. I find that having a small box filled with sand is useful for keeping the game pieces upright and minimizes spilling accidents.I'll update with photos of completed pieces once I finish the set that I am working on now. It is a rainbow set with many layers/pours.

Very poor instructions and missing parts. Too much trouble to return so I may just trash it. There. Are not enough molds to make a complete board. Impossible to duplicate colors to make a second pour
