My wife and I wanted to go from a queen-size to a king-size mattress. But our home is built in such a way that it's impossible to get a conventional king-size mattress up the stairs. We first got a split king-size box spring, so that problem was solved. Now we needed a mattress. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews. I was a little nervous about ordering this one, but the good reviews seemed legit. Two details helped sell me -- first, people reported that there was no unpleasant odor and, second, people reported that this mattress is very firm. I'm totally good with very firm -- if it's too firm one can always get a softer topper, but if it's too soft, well, you're stuck.The reviews were right on both counts. There was no unpleasant odor as this mattress "reinflated" over the course of a day. And yes, it's firm. At first I thought perhaps too firm, but over the next few nights after purchase it turned out to be just fine for us. We are both sleeping better than on our old mattress and I am completely satisfied with this purchase. It's an excellent deal for the money. I bought the extended warranty "just in case", but I really don't foresee needing it now. It seems like this mattress will hold up well over the medium- to long-term.

I purchased this bed for my son. It was very easy to set up, the quality is there, and it's not too expensive. It's very comfortable and we absolutely love it. In fact we like it so much, that I just purchased another one for myself! I definitely recommend this mattress if that is what your shopping for!! Thanks for making a great product!!

I'm 400lbs, my spouse is 370, and this works well for us, no sinking to the bed frame, memory foam recovers nicely, has relieved a lot of back pain. Make sure you have a large area to open it. We appreciate the absence of the nasty smell that usually comes with vacuum sealed beds.

This is a review for the 12 inch Queen size. I've been sleeping on this for 3 months now. Didn't have any of the chemical smell that often happens with foam mattresses. I bought it for moving into a new home and didn't allow it to expand the full recommended time before sleeping on it as I had no where else to sleep - but that didn't affect it at all. It was comfortable that night after 12 hours of expanding and still expanded evenly.Comfort: Everyone has a different sweet spot for firmness. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis so I need a good solid foam core for support with a bit of gel foam for softness and contouring. I love that this mattress is double sided, offering a firmer side and a softer side. I find both sides to be quite comfortable and sleep well. I don't wake up with any pains during the night at all - which is the most important thing. I'm a side sleeper and with some mattresses will often wake with shoulder pain and pinched nerves - that hasn't happened once with this mattress.I have this mattress on a platform frame with wood slats - so it doesn't slide off as others have had issues with. However, the mattress cover is very slick. I have a set of very slick sateen finish sheets for summer months that do not stay on at all. My regular 600tc cotton sheets and percale sheets however, stay on without sliding. So, if you prefer slicker sheets or use a box spring - this mattress is not for you.I do love that this mattress is double sided as that really allows for even wearing and will keep the life of this mattress going for a long time. I turn it once a week and flip it completely over once a month. I think all foam mattresses should have this!

I was looking for a good quality firm mattress at a price point that doesn't need me go bankrupt. This mattress is perfect, as described you can use it both sides for medium firmness and full firmness. I love both sides. Had it for a month, and I like the firm side better.

I have always preferred a firm mattress. I have a very physical job as a dog walker. I walk between 30-50 miles per week. I do have occasional back pain and restless leg syndrome (RLS). So, I figured that maybe due to my job and just getting older, I should get a medium mattress.I have NEVER purchased a mattress online, but I am on a tight budget. After reading the reviews for this mattress, I decided to go for it.I ordered the 10 inch queen. I was drawn to this mattress because each side is a different firmness. I was hoping one side would be a good fit.We opened it in the morning and it was ready to be used that night. I slept on the less firm side first and found it to be too firm. Thinking I made an error on what side was what, I flipped it the next night. It was even MORE firm, so I had it right initially and flipped it back to the less firm side.This is NOT a Medium to Plush mattress!! It is a Firm to Very Firm mattress! I have been sleeping on it for a couple of weeks now. I love the cooling cover. My back aches are better. But I do find this mattress to be a little too firm.All in all, though, okay mattress for the price. I think it will last a while.*****If you are putting this bed on a platform or metal frame, you will need either a rubber mat or mattress baffles. This mattress is super slippery! My dog injured his foot when he jumped off the bed the first night. The mattress had slid about 4 inches, so he slammed his foot into the exposed metal frame not expecting it to be there ((it was in the middle of the night). Our prior mattress did not slide around like this one so it was unexpected.*****

It's always at best an educated guess as to just what any particular firmness claim means, so I rolled the dice on this product based on the reviews -- after I realized that my existing Twin XL had worn out and was slumping, causing me back pain. This one feels just right and I sense that it's going to last me at least a few years.I like the option to flip it one way or another to try "soft" vs. "medium" firm. I went for "medium" and stopped right there, it's just right for me. Price is right, too.Speaking of price, watch for deals on this one. I just missed today's $50 coupon. Ouch!
