Human thoughts on an item they paid to have delivered
works as advertised, was unsure how I would feel with the overall hum it makes at the second level but overall no complaints, moves air quite well!

Helps with kitchen ventilation
Since we don’t have an over-the-stove exhaust fan—just a microwave with a recirculating vent—we use this window fan in the kitchen to help remove cooking smells. It was one of the few window fans that fit the dimensions of our smaller kitchen windows.The ability to switch between exhaust and intake is a nice feature, though we rarely use the intake setting.One minor complaint: windows come in all shapes and sizes, and ours are vinyl. The bottom edge of the fan has a slight curve, so it doesn’t sit perfectly flush when the window is closed down on top of it. Not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of.

Missing an important component; also extremely loud
It's a good idea in principle -- I liked the idea of fans that can be adjusted, at least vertically, but the box had only two expanders, both rigid. I need at least one accordion expander. In addition, the unit REALLY needs a medium speed -- the low speed barely cooled anything if you weren't standing directly in front of the unit, and the high was really loud!! Another reviewer described it as sounding like angry bees. She was right.

NICE FAN
THIS IS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE ORIGINAL ONE I BOUGHT. THE LEFT SIDE DIDN'T WORK, THE BLADE WOULD NOT ENGAGE, BUT AMAZON ARRANGED AN EXCHANGE AND THIS ONE WORKS GREAT ! YOU CAN INDEPENDENTLY AIM EITHER SIDE IN ONE DIRECTION, OR IN DIFFERENT ! IT'S NOT A FAN THAT WILL SET A WHIRLWIND TO YOUR ROOM, BUT IT WILL PULL IN COOL AIR FROM THE OUTSIDE AND HELP COOL THE ROOM !I USE MINE FOR SLEEPING, IT IS VERY QUIET SET ON 1, SET ON 2, IT'S A LITTLE LOUDER, BUT NOTHING THAT WILL KEEP YOU US AND IT GETS IN A GOOD AMOUNT OF AIR !!

Nice Fan
This is a nice fan for thos special places. Its quiet. Just a nice little breeze in the hot bedroom at nite. Not one of the stronge blow you out of the room kind. Just nice and breezy
