Handle made of three pieces of thin wall tubing held together with bolts that crush if you tighten. They recommend tightening each use. Handle to tamper plate connection not firm. The plate is very lightweight, not “ Heavy Duty”Spend a few dollars more and get a real tool.

Since its metal, vibration is harder on your hands.

I purchased this to compress packing gravel. It worked absolutely wonderful. It is heavy enough to get the job done but it is not too heavy for a person of regular strength to use
