One of our rescued cats had to have his leg amputated (this is why we adopted him) & every time he would jump over the gate he would push off the wall with his one back leg & his claws were tearing up the wall in the house we just bought. So I thought installing steps might help him to get over the gate easier. These steps have worked perfectly in helping him to get over the gate without destroying the wall 😅 the other cats love the steps too & one is a chunky boy at 18 pounds & these hold him with no problems whatsoever & that was a concern for me when I was looking for a set of steps. Our foster kittens had a blast running up & down & over!! I am involved in rescue so at any given time I can have several foster cats in my house in addition to my own & some don’t really care for our dogs so we have a gate that sort of separates a portion of our house so everyone has their safe space but we also want everyone to be able to move around where they are comfortable. These steps were very easy to put together & to install & we have had no issues with them coming loose or doing any damage, also they were affordable. I waited for months to do this review because I wanted to see if they truly would hold up for the long haul & they have!!! Definitely recommend these! We bought the 2 pack & so far have only installed the one & put the other one away for future use.

When it comes to giving your feline friends some vertical real estate, these cat wall shelves are a decent choice. Just make sure you use a drill and find those wall studs. I put the top screw in the wall stud so that if it does give out, it won't make them fall forward. Safety first, folks!So far, so good with my three cats, each around 11 lbs. They seem to enjoy their new climbing adventure. One of the three was a little wobbly (the steps), and I'm not sure if I got a dud (the steps not my cat), but it's still holding up. Cats love it, and that's what matters!Pros:Cats absolutely love it.Sturdy when properly installed.Sisal rope adds a nice touch for scratching.Cons:One out of three steps was a bit wobbly, might have gotten a dud.Summary: If you're looking to turn your wall into a cat playground, these shelves are a great option. Just remember to find those studs and secure everything properly. This is a good price for these stairs and my kitten actually uses them easy to install I put a shelve on the wall I haven’t gotten my older cats to climb on wall yet but they will once I buy the whole thing which I plan on buying soon I really like the handmade stuff but these stairs good price

The wood is cheap and flimsy and the hardware that comes with it is of poor quality. The wall mounts are unstable, as mentioned in other reviews, as well. When assembled and properly installed, the product wobbles slightly when my 8 lb cat walks up and down the stairs. Believe me when I tell you they used the cheapest possible wood to make the steps and wall mounted piece of wood. They don’t look terrible to behold but I bought them for fun playtime with my cats, not as wall decor. I learned to spend the extra $10-$15 next time for a sturdier product. I purchased a different brand already and it’s a night and day comparison. I have a high quality product to compare this to and I’m considering installing the one remaining set of stairs low to the floor so when (not if) they break, my cat will be lower to the ground if that occurs. I’m contemplating uninstalling these and repurposing them somehow that won’t be hazardous to my cats. Going to be closely monitoring them for the next few days.

These were exactly what we needed. Easy to put together and install.

I bought this because my cat is goofy and can't get down from the top of his cat tree. So these help help to get up and down. Assembly is easy, just a couple screws in each rung, and they can be assembled to go either left or right. Comes with mounting options for solid walls and drywall. I mounted them to drywall and they seem to be pretty sturdy.

I wish I would have read the “drywallers beware” review before hanging thesePut giant holes in my walls to hang these with what was provided, but it was incredibly wobblySo I had to get better anchors for my wall which made the holes even biggerThey’re still a bit wobbly but my husband says they’re secureI would return these if I didn’t want to waste all the time and effort put inMaybe it would have been better to just hang some shelves for my cats to climb upBut they are super cute
