Bought for my left handed wife who uses a tape measure daily, this was perfect and is much easier for her to use and read. It's of pretty good quality and is durable. The only downfall is the clip is still on the wrong side for a lefty, if this was changed it would be perfect.

Now I can measure, read the measurement right side up, and use my pencil while the tape is e tended. This is an excellent woodworkers tool.

I bought 3 different Left-Handed Tape Measures.... my foreman with 35 years exp. liked this one best. The numbers were nice and large and easy for him to read.Option 2 was a green one, but the numbers were really really small... I use this one... and its readable from both sides, but the numbers are too small for my lead guy who is in his mid 50's and needs reading glasses...Option 3 I purchased had metric on one side of the rule, and that was just a pain in the butt and it will probably get thrown away or put in a craft drawer somewhere...Bottom line, the Task Tools is the winner for my team, and we'll probably buy a few more of them.I wish they'd fix the hip clip so that it would also hang on my left hip and pull forward... And there are some other features I've seen on some tapes, but the important part is that the studs 16 o/c are marked in red. Anything beyond that is gravy.(UPDATE : My foreman said it only lasted 4 to 6 months before the tape broke.... snapped... Sadly it wasn't study enough for daily construction use. Might still be good for a residential consumer homeowner use.)

My husband has ordered 4 of these tapes now because every time someone sees it they want one. BTW.they are all right handed

The belt clip was installed for a right handed person instead of on the other side for a lefty like my other brand tape measure.

So far it seems sturdy and is easy to read. The lock button if very stiff and difficult to push down, I am hoping it will loosen a little with use.

Talk about make life so much easier!! I have been reading a tape measure UPSIDE DOWN for 50 years!🥲. Thank you for thinking of us lefties! Quality tape measure…for the right brained folk!

This was a present for my dad and he loves it! He is not an easily impressed and he raves about it! It's sturdy, well made, easy to use and even better easy for a lefty to read the numbers! Highly recommended for all Lefty's to get this!
