Love these display cases!!!
These are awesome cases despite others reviews. I was able to assemble solo without any help. Yes it takes a lot of time to put together but what’s everyone’s rush? Take your time and here are my tips. Pre-screw in the screws for the hinges into the wood. This will make it way easier to start the screws when you’re hanging the doors, trust me. Yes it takes some time adjusting the doors but as you can see from mine they are perfectly aligned and make sure you watch the YouTube video they have in the back of the instruction booklet! The glass is covered in this oil stuff and to remove it use 0000 steel wool and spray away glass cleaner. It will take time to get it all off and a whole lot of paper towels but it’s worth it! There is no need to use the “latch” for the doors. They stay closed just fine on their own under the pressure of the hinges (provided you adjusted them right).I bought this same case 2 years ago and as others have said the led switch went out. I sent the manufacture an email and they sent me a new switch for free!!!I highly recommend this brand to anyone. Just take your time and enjoy the process.

Worth It
We LOVE this case!!! We got the tallest option, which I can comfortably say is a two-person job. You just need someone to help keep the light cords out the way and someone to help lift the pieces when you are putting them together and trying to lift up and move to the wall. Also helps to have someone hold the glass doors while you drill them in. Other reviews are correct--the doors end up being a little crooked. Here me out though... you don't really notice. It ends up being cool looking enough to where you don't care if the doors are a little crooked. The doors definitely DO close, but AFTER you tinker with the tightening of the screws. You can look up this product on Youtube and there is a video of a man explaining that part. Very important part about the doors shutting, please don't give up if you build it and the doors won't shut all the way. It can be remedied with patience. With two people, it did take about 2.5 hours. WORTH IT. If we had more room, we would get a second one.

A good review with some caveats
Let's start with the overall shelving unit rating. We are happy with it. It looks clean and the glass doors and interior lighting are pleasant. I like that the glass doors are in metal framing and held with 4 brackets on each side. Once mounted, they sit secure and can be tweaked with a screwdriver to make them sit even and flush. Very well done. It also sits evenly on the floor and doesn't sway. However, getting to that end result is not entirely easy. The unit is very heavy upon delivery and you won't want to move it alone. I took it up the stairs piece by piece and that was ready enough. Then I opened the instructions and thought 'what are people complaining about? This is straightforward.' Then after a few normal steps in, I saw the issues. They are easy to move past. The main issue was mounting the second side of the shelf once the shelves are all mounted to the first side. Here is how I did it. Roll the shelf onto the other side, so your are placing the last side on the top. Then the weight of it will help you line up the bolts. You can see it in a picture the way they want you to do it - and that's just awkward.Another hitch is mounting the brackets to the doors. Make the bracket part that you will screw in to the wood come outside the door, not lay against the glass. The brackets are all built as one piece and don't need to be bent or seperated to do it. The instructions make it look otherwise. Then the wiring is shown as each light is plugged into the next and then at the end is the power cable running out. That's not how it came. Instead, each light strip plugs separately into a crows nest as you see in the pictures. I'm not a fan of this, but it's a small gripe. Now one thing I'd recommend to the manufacturer is to add feet to the unit. It sits on the wood bottom slats and so that won't get along with your floor. I cut stripes of velvet pads and ran those along the bottom. That does the trick and eliminates the scratching concern. The last thing is a tip to buyers. The instructions have you mount the light strips in the back of each shelf. This may cause the light to get swollowed up by higher items set in the unit. You may want to run the strips more toward the middle/front. The mount guards you see in the picture that screw in over the light strip is useless. It's thin rubber and serves no real purpose. Unless they make those of a stronger material - you probably don't need them, and can then stick the adhesive lights wherever you need the lighting to be.I hope this is helpful to you.

Good cabinet
Reasonably easy to put together, holes were relatively symmetrical, looks good, sturdy for Ikea/Amazon furniture, price is right. Would buy again.Just Fyi, I use this to hold my whiskey collection. No bowing, which I have seen several times before.
