I really like it I can put my fruits in it instead of having them in my countertops looks cleaner. I wish it was bit bigger but other then that good quality.

I like the ceramic bowl for serving fruit on my island. It is not as large as I was expecting, but it still holds the fair amount of oranges and apples once stacked. I like that this is all black and doesn’t have any nooks and crannies that I need to deep clean which makes it really easy to wash and maintain. It has a good amount of weight that makes it stay firmly in place. I get so many compliments on this!

I keep fresh fruit on hand. On one end of my dining table is a nice glass bowl; I keep apples in it. I didn't have something for bananas, so used a Corningware dish and placed it at the other end. While it was adequate, I never really liked using that dish for fruit. It just didn't seem to fit.This pedestal bowl looks elegant. Due to its large cradle, it is perfect for keeping bananas ready. I tried switching the fruit between the bowls, and this pedestal bowl worked either way. The other bowl, not so much.One thing I considered is the stability of this. If I put all the fruit on one side or jostled the bowl while it was full, would it remain upright or fall over? This is important because if a guest grabs a banana (or whatever), only to topple the thing over and dent or gouge the table that wouldn't be good.One thing I did not deliberately test for was fragility. I inadvertently did that. While walking up the steps with this in one hand, I accidentally whacked the railing. Pretty hard. To my astonishment, there was no damage. Nucookery did a great job of desiging this to last. I don't recommend testing this in a similar manner, I'm just saying mine didn't break.Now I am thinking of getting another one of these so I have a matching set. The ceramic looks nice and it complements the oak and mahogany of the table. I am thinking that with a matching set, I could put a pair of these in the center. The table is 9 and a half feet long, and this would set it off nicely.You can experiment with this pedestal to get a "dress up" of any countertop or other surface while providing a great place to set out fruit or whatever else you want to put in the bowl.

I bought this to use as a fruit bowl for my table. I’m only giving it one star because the base is not attached to the bowl which compromises the stability of the bowl. One bump from the cat or a grocery bag and it topples off of the base.

The Kitchen is often considered only from a functional standpoint and we don't think to decorate it with purpose like the other rooms in the home. Pieces like this one make it so easy to create a little moment of intentional kitchen decor that also is highly functional.This is a beautiful piece for the kitchen or the living room. It's comprised of a shallow bowl atop a small round stand. The stand is separate so you could use just the bowl if you wanted something with less height. At 10 in diameter, the bowl will hold a decent amount of fruit or decor like decorative orbs. I really like the soft black color of the glaze and the decorative edges on the lip of the bowl. It gives the piece movement and interest- even if you leave it empty on your counter, it will make a statement.

I use this bowl to display bracelets at craft/vendor shows. The white provides a great contrast to the surrounding colors on my sales table. The wavy detail is beautiful and quite eye catching. The bowl is sturdy and provides plenty of space for holding whatever items you wish. I highly recommend!

Bowl is nice- modern style. I would have given it 5 stars but the base was detached from the bowl when it arrived- not enough glue?? Not really a big deal as I just re-glued it.

I just updated my kitchen area to have black accents. This ceramic fruit bowl is a beautiful and functional addition to my kitchen counter.It arrived very safely packed. It has a beautiful matte black finish and unique attractive wavy edge design. It has a great height, elevated for beauty but not tippy. Made of beautiful ceramic, it has a good weight.It is the perfect size to display/hold fruit (what I plan to use it for the most). But I recently used it as a serving piece for the cookie bar dessert. It would also be great filled with any decorative bowl filler, a set of three candles, or seasonal decor (spring eggs, Christmas balls) in a family room/bedroom.It is a very versatile piece and would make a wonderful gift. Highly recommend.

I was back-and-forth between the white or black. I went with the black and this is a really cool dish. I can see why other people like this in their review. You won’t be disappointed with it.

This bowl looks very contemporary.The pedestal effect adds elegance.I am very satisfied with it for the price.
