We bought this for our daughter who is a VB setter. Turns out everyone in the family loves it. Even our daughter who primarily play basketball. It’s great for both girls to practice their various sports. It was easy to put together, good quality, and worth the money.

This volleyball setting trainer assembled easily in under 30 minutes. No tools needed except for 2 bolts and the wheels. The wheels roll well if you push the net, but not if you pull the net. The adjustable height works well, but the channel net is not quite long enough if on the tallest setting. It would be nice if the lower basket net was elevated off of the ground to keep the volleyballs elevated. This is a good piece of training equipment. Rated it a 4 versus a 5 due to the quality of netting and the fact that it does not fold down for storing more easily (it is over 10 feet tall if extended). Otherwise, we will get good use from this, and it will definitely help with our setter!

This volleyball setter trainer is well suited for it's narrow task. What you're paying for here is the ability to quickly set and rebound balls. The setter allows for the repetition required to build muscle memory.I'm using it in a backyard with concrete and grass, but it does appear to be made primarily for the gym floor. The wheels are nice to have in that environment, but I left them off for the yard. If you're on anything other than very flat/level ground a small sandbag or weight is good to keep it stable if it gets windy.The telescoping vertical pole and adjustable angle of the hoop really help dial in the difficulty level. I see this as useable at any age, but really high school and college level where they're trying to perfect technique.It's useable alone, but best suited for having a coach/helper to keep the balls going back and forth.The poles are heavy and coated well, but it appears to be paint, not powder coat. Grab a can of rustoleum and touch up anything you scratch off during assembly to avoid rust down the line if it's going to be outside.

Based on the pictures of the listing, I would have expected this item to be more rugged. The poles are an aluminum material and they go together easily. The basket areas for balls is large so you can run 25-30 balls in the basket easily. The ability to tilt the target is a great feature and the ability to adjust the height is nice. The net shouldn't really be moved with the balls in the basket however, as the net is long and could get caught under the wheels and tear. This net is nice in that once it's placed the rubber feet keeps the net in place. The large base of the net though makes it difficult to consider this a travel net.Overall a decent net, more for use in a gym than outdoors though.

This is one sturdy piece of equipment! The pipes that make up the frame are heavy duty and well coated to prevent rust. And there are a LOT of them! But they are all marked with their respective part numbers. The instructions clearly walk you through the assembly. I really like the addition of the casters to help move the whole structure around easily. I believe this is a good value and would be a terrific gift for the volleyball player in your life!
