This is a great, easy to use dashcam that provides excellent results! My insurance company suggested I get a dashcam after I had a minor accident and there was some question about who was at fault. I tried a very cheap one and could see it might have its benefits but it had to be easy to use, turn on, have an ap that I could link to it and download videos, and take good pictures in rain, snow, dark and bright night time lights. This one has all those capabilities. It also comes with everything needed so you can plug it in and use it, cables, USB power plugs, and memory card. I put the first one in my van and learned how easy it is to take down to put the insulated window shades up at night. I also learned that you should clean the windshield before you install the ESD patch just like you would clean the screen on your phone before installing a new screen protector. You want to be sure all dust specs are removed from the area where you are placing the patch! I wondered how well the patch would adhere to the window but I have installed and removed the unit numerous times in my travels and theres no sign of it coming loose! The first dashcam worked so well I bought another for my other vehicle and when I was having trouble setting it up I contacted BotsLab through their chat system on their webpage and Kelly stayed with me until I had both units connected and named. Now depending on which vehicle I'm in, I just select the correct vehicle in the ap and everythings good! I did learn when doing that making the initial Bluetooth and wifi connection is easier done powering the unit with a power brick in an electrically quieter environment. Once you get the first bluetooth and WiFi connetion made it always links right up in my vehicles. I'm expecting I'll soon be buying a third unit for my wife's car!

What a fantastic product! Just the packaging alone spoke volumes to the quality of the product. It was straightforward to install and if I did have a question their website provided live chat session support that was exceptional. Take the time to read through all the great features. They are real. The best way to set it up is through your phone using the BotsLab app. The factory presets will probably do everything you want, but they give you options if you wish. I am very happy with this. I went ahead an bought a 512 mini SD card, just because. But the one that comes with it is fine. I would buy one again.

This is a really good quality camera that is easy to install. I do like the safety features of it. It is easy to connect to your phone and change settings from there or reach footage. I unfortunately was in a car accident where I wasn't at fault and thankfully the rear camera caught everything. When the cops showed up I just showed them the footage and the took their report. It definitely gives you peace of mind. After a few months my camera did stop working so I reach out to customer service and they were so fast to reply and so easy to work with. They offered trouble shooting and it didnt work so they send over a replacement camera. The replacement camera got to me within 2 days and plugged it back in and has been working fine ever since. I have recommended this camera to my friends and colleagues and whoever has bought it have told me they love it.

The Botslab G980H is a budget-friendly, dual-channel, 4K, nicely featured dashcam with parking mode (hardwire kit not included, B0DT1633D2). As of the time of writing this review, the G980H is selling for $129.99 minus a $30 instant savings coupon! The unit was received in a well-constructed packaging containing the front and rear 4 K and 2 K cameras, a 12V accessory outlet power cord, a rear camera cable, cling stickers for mounting the camera to the windshield, and an upholstery tool for routing the cables into the ceiling liner. I would highly recommend the additional purchase of the hardwire kit (https://www.amazon.com/Hardwire-Type-Exclusive-BOTSLAB-G980H/dp/B0DT1633D2), as parking mode will not function without it. I found both cameras to be of good quality, and the hardware provided was also made of high-quality materials. If you will be installing the cameras using the hardwire kit, you will also want to purchase a set of fuse taps appropriate for your type of fuse. I used these (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T8LRSH7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) in my 10th-generation Honda Accord. Check your vehicle's fuse box before ordering to be sure you order the right style of tap! The installation took about 3 hours to complete and was easy to do. The hardest part is identifying the correct fuse locations to tap for VCC (constant 12V) and ACC (only powered when the car is on). Once the appropriate fuses were located, I was able to complete the installation and set up the Botslab G980H using the Botslab app downloaded to my phone from the Google Play Store. If there is one negative to the G980H, it's the lack of an easily located, comprehensive manual. Most of the features are intuitive and easy to understand without the need for a manual. However, there is one feature pointed out in the advertisement for the G980H that I couldn't find any documentation for, "Hands-free control". Using the app, however, I reached out to Botslab via built-in chat support (shout out to Yana!) and was provided with the missing information! Chat support was great, and Yana got me going right away. I've attached an image Yana provided me, which will provide anyone reading this review a list of the available voice commands for the G980H. I'm not sure this is a complete list of all available voice commands, as those listed on the right don't include all of the commands being used in the picture, but it's a good start! My vehicle already has a suite of safety features which mirror those of the ADAS system employed in the G980H, so I have them disabled, however, I did perform the ADAS calibration in setup and found it to be easy to use. The Botslab G980H is a great value for the money. I am very happy with my purchase and hope this review will help others considering buying this dashcam. I give the Bitslab G980H 4 stars out of 5 only for the lack of an easily located, fully comprehensive manual.
