Bought this to carry my 135lbs pressure washer and 5 gallon gas can to pressure washing jobs.Carrier was delivered as expected. Box had a fair amount of external damage. Some areas had minor bending which I straightened out. One area on top of rail has a noticeable dent but didn’t affect performance. The frame was slightly “sprung” out of square causing the ramp to be out of alignment. I was able to correct it enough so ramp functions.Assembly instructions were adequate. All bolts/nuts were loose and required snugging up. *Be prepared to have a variety of METRIC tools when you assemble.Overall build quality was very good. The 60” folding ramp is an excellent idea and was the largest I found. The aluminum is pretty solid as are the metal brackets that hold up the ramp.*I strongly recommend to the manufacturer to drastically improve the packaging to protect the unit during shipping. Based on a number of reviews, inadequate packaging design seems to be the cause of most reviews about damage.Item arrived when expected and it performs the job as intended.

The carrier is working out great, I am using it in my business to haul tools & equipment as needed. Very durable! Easy to install & remove.

Came as promised no damage I ordered it because of the aluminum material used. It all went together pretty well only problem was holes for ramp doesn’t line up. I only wish the ramp would fold down for storage. There is a u bolt retainer that has to be attached each time you use the carrier, so if you only use it every wants and a while assembly is required. I believe it is a good product lite weight but seems solid.

Was easy to assemble. Love the longer extended ramp. Our last one was a powder coated steel one that ended up getting really rusty. Since this made of a high quality aluminum you won't have to worry about that. Plus it's a lot lighter and just as strong. My wife has a Drive mobility chair with a basket and this carrier fits like a glove. I installed a wireless back up cameras on it so it makes it easier for her to back up without issues.. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good carrier..

It is working well for our purposes. We need to haul our trash container to the county road and it is a 1/2 mile with a 200-foot climb. We can't leave it down there due to issues with neighbor children and dogs. My husband has been putting the container in his truck to take it down, but he had shoulder surgery. A neighbor has helped in the past, but lifting the container has caused him pain due to an old injury. After looking through the available cargo carriers, my husband chose this one due to the use of aluminum, which will not rust like steel does and it is lighter. Our neighbor has put it on his truck and really likes it. He did have issues figuring out the proper distance to put the connector into the hitch so the pin aligns. And it is hard to reach around the carrier to get to the pin location. Once he got it in, he used a wide permanent marker to indicate the right depth. Both our trash cans fit in it easily. The neighbor uses both the angle edges of the frame and the hold downs to secure containers. After he drops off the empty containers, he can easily unhitch it and stand it up in his garage taking up little space. He hasn't used the stabilizer as we are only using it for very short hauls, but it appears that it would work well. The ramp is easy to use. It may never stay at my house, but both households are very glad we got it.

This product showed surface rust very early, just a matter of weeks. But it did actually hold up okay. It didn't see a lot of use but was always out in the weather spending much of that time attached to our vehicle. It lasted 8 years carrying wheelchairs a couple of times a month. I'm looking for the replacement now as it's not stable enough anymore to haul without worry that it might fall apart bumping down the road. But 8 years isn't bad for a product like this.

My wife and I came very close to ordering the ramp system from Harbor Freight, but then we noticed many negative reviews, related to not enough cross-members in the ramp section. We found the MaxxHaul 70275 on Amazon and we are extremely happy with our purchase! Unlike the HF ramp, this ramp has plenty of cross-members in the ramp. allowing equipment to be loaded easily. The ramp was simple and easy to install, especially if you have a 2nd person. The ramp does come with an anti-rotational device for the receiver hitch, as well as two reflectors for the rear end. We easily loaded our Pride Rally scooter and were able to utilize the corner tie-downs to secure the scooter. Deploying the ramp is very easy and it is long enough to reach the curb in most cities. The aluminum ramp is sturdy, but not too heavy to handle. IF there is a negative, the small pins that secure the ramp in the upright position really need lanyards to prevent being lost. This is a very simple fix with small pieces of steel fishing leader and crimps! My wife and I both love this ramp and highly recommend it to anyone in need of a cargo hauler, with a nice ramp!

Assembled and mounted in about 2.5 hours by myself. Purchased to transport a Pride Victory 10 scooter 250 miles. Secured with bungee cords. Great performance from the carrier. Only thing I would change would be to include the ability to fold it up when not in use. -But for the money, it is excellent!
