My First Bluetooth Keyboard
I have used a Bluetooth mouse for years, but I have always used a wired keyboard. Well, my cat decided to chew the wire to my keyboard, so it was time to switch. This keyboard is affordable and had decent reviews so I gave it a try.It paired easily to my Mac Mini and the keys have a good feel. The keyboard wakes up with a touch and operates seamlessly. I am still operating on the initial charge after several weeks of use.So far, I am happy with this purchase.

Not really impressed with this keyboard
I purchased this keyboard because I wanted one with the number pad on it since the one that came with my Mac was a small keyboard without the number pad. As the title of my review states I am really not impressed with this keyboard. It's not as slim as an original apple keyboard, the keys are thicker, and for some reason I just seem to have a harder time typing with this one. I have to constantly review what I am typing because I find at times missing words, or words that appear to be deleting as I type them, and sometimes some keys seem to stick adding extra letters to words. For the money, I guess it's an okay keyboard, nothing to type home about though. I won't be using it long, I'm going to go ahead an buy an OG keyboard with the number pad for my Mac.

Awesome customer support!
The media could not be loaded. I am updating updating my review and want to say that Omotion support team was awesome in handling my issue with the initial Keyboard failure. I was initially disappointed with it as it failed when I tried connecting it after not using for several months. I contacted them thru email and didnt expect them to resolve my issue so quickly. They wrote back to me immediately and asked for a video showing my issue and some suggestions for trying to connect it. Once I submitted the video to them and stated the suggestions didnt work, they immediately shipped me a new keyboard, which was delivered last light and was sitting outside, until I checked my email early morning today and saw their email asking if I had received my keyboard. I was delighted to find it outside and set it up immediately. I am typing this review with the new keyboard and everything is working fine. I have to say that Omotion has really come through and impressed me with their quick support. Thank you for owning up to the issue and taking care of it so quickly and in a very professional manner.

space bar does not work reliably on my unit
This seemed like it would be a great keyboard for me since I use genuine Apple magic keyboard at work. However, this keyboard has a space bar that is 3 5/8 " wide, while genuine Apple magic keyboard has a space bar that is 4 3/8" wide. I am right handed and type space with my right thumb. I find with this keyboard, my spaces are not picked up by the keyboard about 25% of the time. This really renders the keyboard unusable because I have to go backwards and fill in missing spaces so often. I can't say whether this is a fundamental design flaw in the product and the positioning of the narrow space bar, or whether I just got a bad unit. In any case, I am returning it and pondering whether to try a different keyboard or risk buying another one of these. The pairing protocol requires first choosing which of BT1, BT2, BT3 you want to pair via fn+BT<n> for the desired <n>. Then you just hold that BT<n> until the pairing is successful. It worked fine for me, but I did have to read the instructions to learn the protocol.Other than the problem with the space bar geometry, the keyboard layout is very familiar from genuine Apple. The key touch is a bit mushy when depressed as compared to genuine Apple, so it is not as easy to sense when the keys ares adequately depressed.
