This bad boy is AMAZING...I have gotten close to 10 ppl to buy these as well.They did everything but make the thermometer probe in the form of a corkscrew for opening wine bottles! Haha!1. This is the 4th time I’ve purchased. One was a gift last Christmas, two for us this year, one for home one for the RV. Just got one as stocking stuffer for our son who hosted Thanksgiving this year and didn’t have an instant read thermometer to check the bird. This thermometer is accurate and so very easy to use. Turns off when you close it. Has a handy magnet on the back to stick to the grill, wipes clean. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed in this unit!

I liked this thermometer when I got it and used it almost daily. Easy to use, easy to read, quick reacting. I usually cleaned the unit by merely wiping off the probe or washing the probe if needed. Recently the thermometer got wet when it was cleaned by someone else. I don't know exactly what happened, but it appeared that water got into the display and the unit stopped displaying legible numbers. It dried out after several days, but was stuck in Celsius and the backlight on the display no longer worked. I contacted support who initially weren't very helpful, but a little persistence did result in them sending me a new thermometer, since mine had failed after only about six months and the warranty is for 1 year. I do give them credit for that although it took several contacts and about three weeks to actually get a replacement. The instructions that come with the unit say "Do not completely immerse the digital thermometer in water for minutes." I would be more careful than that and wash just the metal probe. Except for that issue, this is a very satisfactory quick read thermometer at a good price.

This thing is incredible! Even came with an extra battery! And it’s magnetic so I can put it on my fridge! Love it! Will do business with this company again!!!

Very fast reading. Unlike other similar devices that can take 30-60 seconds to get a stable reading, this device only took a few seconds.

I just purchased my second of these thermometers - this time as a gift for a friend who enjoys cooking but doesn't have a cooking thermometer (and she should!). The first was a purchase for myself and I use it quite literally every single day.I do a lot of cooking and baking at home - I even make candy - and it's very important to me to have a quality, reliable and accurate thermometer in the kitchen, but one that doesn't break the bank. This thermometer is great because it's well-constructed (love the finger loop - so handy when using to test candy or liquids in larger pots), offers C or F at the touch of a button, is very easy to read (large digital display) and has an auto-off feature that means that you don't wear out your battery (easy to replace flat batteries) when you're not using it.I also love the fact that the actual temperature rod is flexible - very hand when you're trying to measure the temperature in different parts of a larger roast! A quick wash of the rod and it's clean (you'd never submerge it in water, of course, but it IS water-resistant). It's also reasonably priced and for someone who may be new to using a cooking thermometer (or the fledgling cook/baker) it's a terrific option to start using this important kitchen item without a huge financial commitment.All in all, I consider it a key tool in my kitchen and that's why I'd recommend this thermometer, and have purchased not only for myself, but for others as well.
