Birds eat this food.
Very good quality bird food. Parakeets, lovebirds, green checks, parrotlets, Bourkes, they all approve.

Great value, easy transition
Great value, lovebird transitioned fairly quickly to the pellets. Same color pellets, same size, quality seems to be fine too. Healthier than feedings seeds all the time.

Better size for cockatiels
I have two cockatiels. For purchased food I always buy ZuPreem, just based on their reputation. The birds like it and are healthy and happy. I'm sure there are other brands just as good or better, maybe cheaper. This pellet size is much better for cockatiels, at least for mine. When I had ZuPreem's various pellet foods made for cockatiels there was a lot of waste. They would bite into the pellet and the majority of it would fly off; my guess is less than 20% ended up in their stomach. This size pellet still gives their jaw exercise with FAR less waste. They've never complained to me!

Enjoyable dining
Birds enjoy their seeds.

Cut the Cuttlebone
The cuttlebone holder works fine with normal sized cuttlebone. However, the cuttlebone sent is way too big & will have to be shaved down in order work properly. (See photo). I guess it’s better to have too much than too little!

Cheap and in good condition : UPDATE
This has lasted me months now. I am maybe 2/3 done with it and I ordered this a really long time ago. It's cheaper to buy in bulk, I'm used to always having to stop by a pets market to buy the smaller bags, and they are much more expensive. The bad thing is, since it's so heavy the box it came in was in awful condition when it arrived. Ripped, torn open, and the UPS guy threw it against our door too, because it was so heavy.UPDATE: So it's been awhile since I've last posted, yeah? I thought I'd give an update and give a more thorough review.I have three birds total, an African Grey, a parrotlet, and a budgie. All three love Zupreem. We buy the bigger pellet size for our African Grey, and she's funny because she likes to pick out certain colors, so when we refill her bowls in the morning all you'll see are the purple ones leftover. (I guess she doesn't like grape flavor!) Sometimes it'll be just all red leftover, but she always eats the yellow ones. For my other two smaller birds, I was afraid Zupreem would be harmful for them in the long run because I've been on a couple of bird forums and there's always a huge discussion about the artificial coloring in Zupreem pellets. Zupreem has had years of testing and perfecting their products, but still I worried and so I tried switching over to a non-colorful seemingly healthier choice, Roudybush. They hated it! They'd toss it all out onto the bottom of their cage and make a huge mess out of it. I've thus learned my lesson that my birds can be finicky eaters and I struck gold the first time when I tried Zupreem. It was wishful thinking that they'd just switch over; Roudybush had more of a veggie wheat sort of base smell, whereas Zupreem was more fruity and sweet smelling. All in all, it was a waste of money trying to find something new. I bought the huge 10 lb bag of Roudybush too, so I had to slowly mix it in with some Zupreem to not waste it. I've also tried mixing it with hot water and mashing it with some steamed veggies to feed to my bigger African Grey as a treat (she likes warm steamed foods and isn't as finicky as the smaller ones). We were first recommended Zupreem by our local vet when our African Grey got extremely sick from eating a strictly seed medley diet. Apparently it's not as nutritious for them; she would pick out mainly sunflower seeds, and those are like candies to them. My budgie was also starting to show signs of respiratory issues from her seed diet; she was having breathing problems and was wheezing, trouble balancing, tail was bobbing as she breathed. After swapping to pellets they are much more healthier and get the vitamins and nutrition they need.
L**!
You must buy this food if you're never tried it before!
My little is girl Misty only wants to eat this food. It's hard to get her to eat a more balanced parakeet food. Misty just loves this colorful and pleasing food so much!!
