The ZD710 dive light is IP68 Waterproof of 150M Depth and is made of aluminum making it light, corrosion resistant, and tough. There are lots of beam intensity options from a high (1600 lumens), medium (750 lumens), low (250 lumens), and hidden turbo (2700 lumens). Having built-in green and red LEDs on the on/off switch is very helpful to keep track of the real-time battery level. Twisting the front of the light smoothly changes the beam angle from a tight penetrating 8° to a wide and evenly diffused 76°.The switch lockout function that prevents it from accidentally turning on during travel is a great idea and the second battery is an unexpected extra. Also, the USB-C cable connects directly to the battery, so no extra charging block is needed. Even a pair of extra O-rings and a lanyard are in the case. I appreciate the bright orange rings around the front and back of the light to make it easier to find at night or if dropped while diving.Whether you need a wider view at night searching for critters or a tight beam to reach into the dark areas of reef or wrecks in bright daylight you should be happy with this light. Even the fish approve!

Orcatorch Strikes Again with the ZD710 a Powerful and Well-Thought-Out Dive Light!This light is an absolute beast! Right out of the padded travel case (a really nice touch, by the way, with a sturdy zipper and custom foam inserts – details matter!), you can feel the quality and heft. The power this thing puts out is seriously impressive. What really sets it apart, though, is the adjustable spot and flood feature. It's not something you see every day, and I can already tell it's going to be incredibly useful for different diving scenarios.The inclusion of two substantial 2000 mAh batteries is fantastic, and the fact that they can be charged using a standard phone charging block is a huge convenience. No need for proprietary chargers cluttering up my gear bag!I'm particularly excited to test this out underwater once the local visibility improves – I have high hopes for some great photos. Based on its solid construction and the performance of my other Orcatorch lights, I have no doubt this one will have a long lifespan and hold up to some serious use.Speaking of my other Orcatorches, this is my third from them, and it’s definitely the most powerful of the bunch. A small but incredibly helpful detail is the green and red battery indicator lights. Knowing the remaining charge at a glance is a game-changer.Overall, if you're looking for a powerful, versatile, and well-built dive light, look no further. I bought this light for a live aboard trip with Night dives every night. This light did amazing! The really cool thing is to have a wide beam, and a narrow beam in the same light. I was able to efficiently switch between the two beams as needed. The narrow beam works great for signaling and pointing things out. Then the wide beam is perfect for lighting up an entire area.💯 would definitely recommend!!!

We are DPV (underwater scooter) divers and like to hunt for lobster during the daytime.You can read the other reviews to understand how awesome this light is in the dark and murky situations, but how does it perform in bright sunlight and moving quickly underwater? That is the true defining feature of a powerful light versus just a mediocre one.Look at the video I have uploaded. This video is taken in bright sunlight at a depth between 15 and 30 feet while cruising a reef on DPV’s where being able to quickly spot our quarry in crevices that are bathed by dark shadows from the bright sunlight is critical.This is where the Orcatorch ZD710 shows how powerful it is. Any underwater light will look good during a night dive. But how many will excel in bright sunlight?Look at the video – look at the shadows that the Orcatorch ZD710 creates behind the lobster when the lobster is in direct and bright sunlight – that should tell you all you need to know about how bright this light is. Look at the shot of the turtle – in direct sunlight where you can see the how the Orcatorch’s powerful beam reaches the turtle even while the turtle is out in the open and in direct sunlight.This is a powerful light. And the battery lasts a LONG time. I honestly do not know how long because one runs out of bottom time before this light runs out of juice; our dive today was over 1 hour and 30 minutes long and the light was on, on high, for most of the entire dive.If I was doing a second dive, I would simply replace the battery with the second one that is so conveniently included with this set.The Orcatorch ZD710 is a serious awesome underwater dive light.
