Very impressed with the Quality
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this being only $399. I was blown away by the welds, thickness of metal, and quality. This does not feel like a Chinese made product to look good and then arrive looking nothing like the photo. Install was pretty easy. I would definitely have an extra person to keep it in place while you bolt it on. Instructions were pretty straight forward. Honestly what a lucky find.

Junk, junk, junk......
My mechanic friend told me to buy American when I needed to replace my bumper after a small accident. If only I had listened! Now I'm stuck with this cheaply made, ill-fitting piece of Chinese junk hanging off the back of the truck. I do not recommend.

A deal at $400
This bumper looks legit. At $400 it's a solid value.Let's start small. The shackles are the kind of standard shackles you'd order as stand alone items for $20-30 online. They are painted a dark laser red. The only thing I see missing are the rubber washers if you're worried about clink noises (they cost about $0.85 at the hardware store). The cutouts for the trailer plug and sensors are probably water jet cut. They are clean and even. There are four sensor holes with premounted black glass in them. The lights have stub wires (about 6") coming out of each of them. You'll have to connect them yourself to either the backup lights or a switch. The lights are preinstalled. The logo plate is removeable, but I actually like it. It's a laser/waterjet cut plate with a machined face - tough looking. The bumper skin measures 1/8" with the micrometer. The welded on brackets behind the skin and the bolt on brackets are 15/64" (a hair shy of 1/4"). The included bolts are equivalent to a grade 5 SAE bolt. I'd like to see a grade 8 bolt with any bumper setup but even on my bumpers that cost three times this much I had to buy my own grade 8 hardware. The fish scale welds are along most of the exterior surfaces. There are spot and area welds in less visible places. Some edges that don't carry a load are just folded to meet and not welded. The built in tow hooks have a rough cut look to them like my other heavy duty bumpers - they aren't meant to look refined they're meant to look rough. You can jump up and down on this thing all day, it'll be fine. You can probably get pulled out of the sand by the shackles or tow hooks and be fine, too.The powder coat is even and feels thick. The bolts and washers look like they're just painted. My overall assessment is that this is a medium duty offroad bumper. I'd like to see 3/16" or 1/4" all around and grade 8 hardware to call something heavy duty. But, at the $400 list price it's half or less the cost of a heavy duty bumper. You get all the look at a discount price and alot less weight to carry around vs the thicker metal so it won't make the truck squat nearly as much.

great
perfect fit for my tacoma. looks great and hardest part about install was removing the orginal bumper. no complaints just take your time with it and have 2 people do it. 1 person is such a headache. lots of utility to it and the shipping box came damaged but there was no damage to the bumper itself. welds and paint look top notch. i love it.
