For a rubberized blanket, it’s velvety and I poured water on it as a test and nothing leaked through. I’ve read some reviews that problems happen after washing but this also happens with hospital pads. So hopefully my old dog can now sleep on my bed without making a mess.

The perfect blanket for couples. Its soft, and quiet, and leaves no messes behind. When washing do an extra spin cycle or two to really get the water out or else you'll be drying it for a really long time.

This product works. Perfect size to cover the whole king size bed. My wife was pleased with how soft the material was. The weight of the blanket isn’t heavy, when dry. Overall quality we are happy with, as we have been able to use it to get freaky with no issues. I would recommend to anyone looking to not make a mess on your special night, or if you have messy kids.

This works as described, preventing moisture from whatever source from penetrating into your bedding, allowing this top layer to be removed for a dry night of sleep. There are multiple types of this kind of product, some twice or three times the amount of this product, but the difference I have noticed is in the quality of the blanket material, not in the moisture barrier. The more expensive blankets have very plush, premium material, this blanket material is decent, but not premium. If you want to try this kind of product out, or need a back up, this works very well.

Holds up pretty well until it doesn’t

This definitely works. When I first got it I poured some water on the blanket and it retained the water well. I also washed it a few times as instructed and it’s still holding up good.

Perfect blanket for what we needed, only once did anything get through about golf ball size spot but the blanket was pretty soaked. When we wash it we don’t use anything but a small amount of detergent and it needs to be re spun and drained but that is because it holds a lot of liquid. Color is exactly as shown the blanket is still soft and warm even when you just lay on top.
